Four: Oh Look, Ice Cream!

"Have you decided yet?"

"Hmmmm... I don't know."

"Come on Miru, it's just a color. Pare pareho lang din naman ang lasa nyan." He said impatiently.

"Fine, fine. I'll take the pink one." Sabi ko sa vendor ng cotton candy.

"And I'll take the blue one." Sabi namam ni Iggy.

We're here now at the fair, obviously, Iggy and I are buying cotton candy. The others? Well, we arrived here all together, pero when their girls came, they went their separate ways. While me, here stucked with Iggy buying cotton candy.

"Let's go." Yaya sakin ni Iggy pagkaabot ng bayad sa vendor.

Tumango na lang ako at sabay kaming naglakad without a destination. Paikot ikot lang kami sa perya while eating our cotton candy.

"Iggy, look." Tumakbo ako papalapit sa vendor ng mga hayop.

You know, ung may tulak tulak na kulungan ng sisiw na may kulay, daga na puti at rabbit?

"Don't tell me gusto mo ng sisiw na pink?" Tanong ni Iggy sa likod ko.

"Oh don't worry, I won't." Umupo ako to check the white rabbit na nasa pinakailalim na kulungan. "Because I want this one." And I pointed out the sleeping rabbit.

"A rabbit?"

"Uh huh." Tatango tango kong tugon habang hindi inaalis ang tingin sa hayop.

"Jeez Miru, para kang bat-"

"Bata pa naman talaga ako ahh?" I raised my eyebrow and looked at him.

"Isip bata." He said and rolled his eyes.

"But look at him Iggy, he's so cute, adorable and....white." I said in a cooed voice.

"Just because it looks cute, adorable and white, doesn't mean you have to buy it. Come on Miru, hindi nga natin alam if is it safe." He said na parang tatay na nagpapaliwanag sa anak na bawal bumili ng candy kasi nakakasira yun ng ngipin.

"But dad...." I said in sarcasm and even stomp my feet on the ground for dramatically effects.

"Tssss." He said at hinila ako palayo sa vendor ng animals.

Bye bye cute, adorable and white rabbit.

"I'm going to die." I cried.

"I'm here Miru, you can't die." He tighten his grip on my hands.

"I wanna go home." I cried louder.

I heard him sigh. "Open your eyes M, the view is breath taking up here."

"Oo, breath taking talaga dahil mauubusan na ako ng hininga!" I shouted at him. But he just laugh at me.

Sakay kami ngayon sa ferris wheel and we're stuck at the upper part dahil may sumasakay pa sa free space which is at the bottom part.

Kulang na lang maglupasay ako kanina sa lupa dahil pinipilit nya akong sumakay dito. Like duh, I'm scared of height's, at never as in never pa akong sumakay dito. Feeling ko mawawalan ako ng malay once I step my foot on this thing.

And here I am, dahil sa kakapilit ni Iggy, nandito tuloy ako. I even cried, yeah, I cried literally. Pinagtitinginan na nga kami ng mga tao eh, but I don't care! Ayoko talaga! But instead na maawa, pinagtawanan pa ako ng gago at pilit itinulak pasakay sa empty cart ng ferris wheel.

I fucking hate this guy!

Humigpit ang hawak ko sa kamay ni Iggy when the ride slowly move dahil feeling ko talaga papatak ako *sobs.

"Open your eyes Miru, you'll like it here, trust me. Just don't look down and if you're still scared, just look at me." He said at pinisil ang kamay ko na mahigpit pa rin ang hawak sa kamay nya.

I faced him, slowly, I open my eyes and meet his dark brown orbs smiling right at me. Bakit ang gwapo naman ata ni Iggy? Ang malantik at makapal nyang pilik, medyo makapal na kilay, makinis na mukha na walang bakas kahit konting pilit, matangos na ilong. Napalunok na lang ako when my eyes found his pinkish lips. I gulp, pakiramdam ko namumula ako.

Shocks! Am I blushing? I'm blushing! Napaiwas na lang ako ng tingin at tumingin sa harapan ko to found out that Iggy is right. The view is awesomely good up here. The lights from the houses from afar looks like stars. Isama mo pa ang effects ng matataas na puno na parang anino lang sa dilim.

I look back at Iggy and he's still staring at me. O....kay?

Awkward silence.

"Is this the part where I should stare back at you, close my eyes then lean slowly till my lips touch yours because we're at one romantic place?" Basag ko sa awkward atmosphere sa pagitan namin ni Iggy.

Iggy cleared his throat. "I- uh.." Nag iwas sya ng tingin at kumamot sa ulo.

Napahiyaw na lang ako ng maramdaman kong umiibo na ang ferris wheel. Wala sa sariling hinagip ko ang malamig na kamay ni Iggy at mahigpit na hinawakan yun as if my life depends on it. I closed my eyes and let the ride do it's thing until I got used to it.

The whole time we're in the ride, I keep my eyes shut and scream on top of my lungs like the other does. While Iggy? I don't know, tahimik lang sya sa tabi ko but he never let go of my hand.

"That was awesome!" I said while laughing pagkababa namin sa ferris wheel.

"Awesome huh? Pero nakapikit ka lang naman the whole ride."

I frowned. "Atleast!"

"Hey guys!" It's Calvin, together with Harem and Farley. Nakasandal sila sa railing ng Merry Go Round. Napakunot ang noo ko, nasa--

"Where are the girls?" There, he said it.

But instead of answering Iggy's question, they're staring intently at us with a questioning look. Okay...... what's going on? I followed on what they're staring and oh!

I took away my hands from Iggy's grip. Jeez! Since ng bumaba kami ng ferris wheel we never let go of each other hands? I can feel my face is turning red, and I don't have the guts to look at the guys so instead of talking to them I divert my attention.

"Oh look, ice cream!"
