Chapter 4: The Introductions

Flame P.O.V

As we were walking to the circus tent, I looked behind me to see Sebastian and Finny talking behind us. Though behind them, were Sebastian's... Fan base... I guess you could call them. I rolled my eyes and continued to look straight as I was talking to Dagger and Joker. From behind me I could here all different types of things coming from the girls.

"You're so handsome!"
"Are you single?"
"Those eyes are amazing!"
"Oh my god he just looked at me!"
"Damn this outfit for not being flattering..."
"Get away from him! He's mine!"
"He looked so dreamy in that butlers suit."
"He's so cool and mysterious~"

Not wanting to hear anymore of their voices, I walked faster than usual, Dagger and Joker struggling to keep up with me. I then felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Are you okay Flame? You're not acting like ya self." Joker said as him and Dagger both had worried looks on their faces. I smiled at them and sighed.

"I'm fine guys... Just a bit annoyed with them." I pointed my thumb towards the girls behind us. Joker nodded, understanding why I was getting annoyed and he walked over to them and put on his signature smile.

"Well excuse me ladies, give the lads some space would ya? Go off and practice. You'll never be a first-tier member if ya don't!" Joker told them. Most of their faces dropped as they sighed and looked down.

"Yes Joker..." I heard all of them say at once while dispersing off to go practice. Joker looked back at me and grinned, walking back over to Dagger and I.

"Thank you Joker." I said while grinning at him. He put his hand on my head and ruffled my hair.

"Anything for my little sis!" He said.

As we got to the circus tent, I held up the curtain for everyone to enter. First Dagger, then Joker, then Finny, and finally, Sebastian. As I watched Sebastian walk in, he looked at me and winked before continuing to walk to the ring. My face became hot and I pouted at this before shaking my head and walking in as well.

I looked up to see Doll sitting on the top of the tightrope standing station. Joker then ushered Finny to go to the top of there as well. As he got up there, Doll started doing up the ropes around his waist. I saw him and Doll mumbling a conversation before Joker yelled up, telling Doll to make sure the knots were tight.

"Aren't there any other test you could devise for me?!" Finny yelled down as Joker had a look of pure amusement on his face. After a few seconds of Finnian and Joker talking or shall I say, yelling at each other, Joker made Finny hurry up. I chuckled at this and Sebastian looked down at me.

"Something funny?" He asked, an amused smile playing on his lips as well as mine.

"That little friend of yours seems to be a little anxious. He reminds me of myself when I started walking across the tightrope." I said as I crossed my arms and smirked at Finnian.

"Oh? You do tightroping as well? I was under the impression you could only act with fire." He said with a smirk. I took fake offence to that and put my hand on my chest, acting shocked.

"Excuse me, I can do everything in this circus. I just like doing the fire acts because I get to do them with my brother, Jumbo." I stated.

"Well, you'll have to show me your skills sometime." His prominent smirk never leaving his features.

"With pleasure." I said as I curtsied teasingly. He chucked as we both looked up at Finnian. He was shaking but his face was filled with determination. He then started walking across the tightrope.

'I must admit he's doing okay for his first time' I thought as I nodded my head in approval. That was shortly taken away when he started flailing around near the middle of the rope. I cringed, thinking he was going to fall when suddenly he jolted to stand upright again. He did this a few times. I widened my eyes.
