Chapter 21: Making Breakfast

Lily P.O.V
My eyelids fluttered open as I saw the sun peaking through the gap in the curtains. I grumbled as I pushed the blankets off my body. I looked beside me and saw that Flame was no longer beside me, swinging my legs off the bed and rubbing my eyes, heading to the bedroom door.

Going out of the room, I headed to Flames room which was next to Sebastian's. I opened the door and quietly made my way across the floor and to the side of the bed that Flame was on.

"Flame." I whispered as I poked her cheek softly. She grumbled and rolled over, kicking the blankets off of her and Sebastian. I saw Sebastian noticeably frown before pulling the blankets back over him. I held in a giggle as I poked Flame on the cheek again. She rolled over to face me as her eyes opened to glare at me before her eyes softened.

"Lily? What are you doing in here? Are you okay?" Flame whisper-grumbled as she rubbed her eyes.

"I'm okay. I want to make breakfast for Lord Ciel and I need your help." I whispered to her. She smiled softly and got out of he bed, careful not to wake up Sebastian.

"Alright, let's go." She whispered as I held her hand and we walked down the hallway.

"So, it is still quite early and there is still time before the Master has to wake up so we have time to make breakfast if we hurry. Hmm... Why don't you go find Finny, Bardroy and Mey-Rin and we could get this done a lot quicker." Flame stated as I nodded.

"Mmhm! I'll go find them now!" I said cheerfully as I let go of her hand and ran off to find the other servants.

Flame P.O.V

I chuckled as she ran off. I made my way to the kitchen and pulled up the sleeves of the white long sleeve shirt I had on. I washed my hands and started pulling out ingredients.

"Today we shall have the main being a Spanish omelette with different pastes on the side. The two side dishes we will make to complete the meal will be scones with jam and cream along with pancakes with multiple fruits and maple syrup as the toppings. Sounds good just thinking about it." I mumbled to myself as I licked my lips and tied an apron around my waist, getting various ingredients out and tying my hair into a neat ponytail.

"Well good morning Flame." I heard Bard say as he made his way through the kitchen doors, a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Following closely behind was Mey-Rin, Finny and last but not least, Lily.

I puffed out my cheeks and made my way over to Bard as I took the cigarette out of his mouth and broke it between two fingers, throwing it in the bin.

"Not only is that a really bad thing to have in the kitchen, it's also not good for your health at all." I said as I put my hands on my hips. He raised his hands in defence as he chuckled.

"Fine. Fine. I get it." He said, smiling at me as I rolled my eyes and glared at him before turning to face the others, smiling.

"Good morning everyone!" I said as I went to prepare the ingredients.

"Mey-Rin, could you start setting out the table? Remember to only lift enough plates that you can carry between your fingers and your thumb. Finny, could you start chopping up the fruit and vegetables? Please try not to cut yourself or cut through the chopping board and Bard, could you preheat the stove and oven WITHOUT using the flamethrower. I myself will start preparing the mix for the omelette and the scone batter. Lily you can help me with this and Tanaka... You just keep doing what you're doing". I said as I smiled and started cracking the eggs into a bowl. All I heard in response was a synchronised "Yes Ma'am!" From all of the servants.
