Chapter 2: Sebastian?

Flame P.O.V

After Jumbo and I were finished our little fire acts, Jumbo and I ran off stage and it was Wendy and Peters turn to show the crowd their skills on the trapeze. With a few tricks and flips, they ended with a pose. Next was Dagger who was throwing his knifes at the wheel of death, earning a few gasps from the audience. After that, Snake started doing his dances with all his snakes wrapped around himself. The next act was Doll on the tightrope, she walked across, holding her umbrella as she did the splits and a few flips on the tightrope. Last but not least was Beast while she made Betty jump through a ring of fire.

"This very special act calls for some audience participation! Are there any volunteers?" Joker said as he gestured to Beast and Betty.

Suddenly, a man with black hair, piercing blood red eyes and what looked like a butlers tail-coat stood up from the crowd and just looked down at the ring with a stoic facial expression. Joker looked up at him and his face showed a bright smile.

"Ho ho ho! The gent in the tailcoat there sure looks eager eh? Please, come up on stage! Well? Step right on stage sir!" Joker said while holding out his hand. The man in the tail-coat made his way down the stairs and jumped over the ring's border, walking over to Joker with the same poker-face.

"Very good sir! Now if you would please lie dow-" Joker was cut off with the man walking straight past him and straight to Betty. I looked at him shocked before I shook my head and sighed. Tail-coat man started petting Betty's face and mumbling things that appraise the feline, a smile appearing on his face.

'I've got to admit, he is quite attractive' I thought to myself as I shook the thought out of my head and continued watching the show before me.

I saw Beast and Joker looking at him in shock and I smirked at their facial expressions. The man started touching Betty's paws, looking like a little kid in a toy store. Soon after, Betty had gotten annoyed and bit the mans face. I chuckled softly and smirked while folding my arms.

"Release that man immediately Betty!" Beast yelled as she went to whip Betty but the man just caught the whip in his hand so it wrapped around his wrist. I looked at him as if he was crazy and he dropped the whip. After his speech about it being his fault and not Betty's, Betty bit him on the back of his head. This time, I laughed normally and I think the man heard me as he looked over at me, slightly glaring. This made me laugh even more and then I stuck my tongue out at him before leaving and fixing up my make-up.

'Well I've got my entertainment for tonight' I thought as I chuckled softly and shook my head, proceeding to walk to my tent.

While walking to my tent, I saw Joker running towards the exit. Curious, I ran after Joker to see what he was up to. When I caught up to him, I tugged at his sleeve.

"Hey Joker, what're you up to? Shouldn't you be helping pack up?" I asked him as I tilted my head in confusion. Joker chuckled and put his hand on my head, ruffling my hair.

"I'm going to catch up with the man that got bitten by Betty, better make sure he's okay." when Joker said this I chuckled.

"I'll come with you, it'll give me something to do." I said while smiling.

"Alright! Let's go then! Hurry!" Joker said as he took my hand and pulled me with him while we both ran to catch up to tail-coat guy.

"Oh! We found ya! Hello sir, the bloke in the fancy tail-coat!" Joker yelled out to the man.

"We caught you, I'm sorry for earlier." Joker said while puffing.

"No, please, it is I that should be apologising." Tail-coat man said while smiling at us.
