Carnival

You were online looking for a job when something popped up on your screen. 

***CARNIVAL TONIGHT THROUGH NOVEMBER 9th.***

You were really excited because your parents had always taken you to carnivals. You loved them because they made you feel like a child. This last month, the Winchesters have been solving cases, it seems li,e every day. You decided that they needed a break. 

3 hours later:

You were laying on the bed when you heard the car doors slam. You heard them jingling the keys in the door. You got up and walked over to the fridge. You grabbed a beer and sat down at the table. The door opened and Sam and Dean walked in. Deans eyes grew curious when he saw you on the computer with a grin spread across your face. You stand up and smile huge. 

"Hi guys." 

"What do you want?" Dean asks. 

"Why would you think I want something?" You retort. 

"Because you never smile that big. Ever." Dean says. 

"Okay, you got me. Guys, I was looking for a case when something popped up. Look."

Dean looks at the screen and sighs. 

"We just don't have the ti-"

"My point exactly. You guys need a break. You work constantly and there's stuff going on and we just need a day to have fun."

"Y/N..."

"Please Dean?" Sam begs. 

"Fine." Dean says. 

You jump up and go hug him. He doesn't hug back for a seconds, but he finally does. You kiss him on the cheek and smile.

"Thanks Dean." 

24 hours later...

You throw on a hoodie and Dean and Sam throw on theirs. Cas has his trench coat as always. You all walk out to the impala and you and Cas have the backseat. You rest your head on his shoulder. Dean drives off towards the carnival. You look up at Cas and smile. 

"Will you ride the Ferris Wheel with me?"

"I...I don't do heights." he stutters. 

"Pleeeease?" You beg. 

"Maybe." He says. 

Dean pulls in and you get all excited. You get the child feeling and you smile as big as you can. You peck all three guys on the cheek. 

"Thanks for coming guys. We are gonna have so much fun." You say. 

You all get out and you dig out $40. Two bracelets for you and Cas, and another $40 for Sam and Dean. You walk up to the ticket booth and ask for four bracelets. You pay the $80 and everyone gets a bracelet. They smile and say thanks. 

"Think of it as a gift of gratitude for even coming."

You all walk in and you see a basketball game. You play and win a teddy bear. You give it to Cas and he smiles like a child at Christmas. Dean sees a shooting game and says he can beat Sammy at it. Sammy smiles. 

"Betcha can't."

"Bet I can."

You guys walk over and they boys pay and start the game. Sam ends up winning a stuffed moose. He smiles and keeps it. 

"What do ya guys say we go ride something?"

The Winchesters nod and Cas kinda hides. 

"What's wrong Cas?" You ask. 

"Nothing." He says. 

"It's not as scary as you think. Me and you can ride some slow rides first then maybe the Ferris Wheel last. What do ya say?"

He nods and Sam and Dean smile. They head towards the bigger rides and you and Cas go towards the small rides. You guys go to the slides. You guys climb to the top and you decide to race. On three, you guys slide down. He smiles and laughs. 

"That was fun." he says. 

You guys walk over to the spinning dragons and ride those next. He enjoys it but it was a little scary at first. 

Hours Later:

Finally Cas agrees to ride the Ferris Wheel. You guys met up with Sam and Dean. They rode in one cart, and you and Cas in the other. You intertwine your hands together and go sit in a cart. As more people got on, you guys got higher. As you reached the top Cas chuckled and put an arm around you and you leaned into him. You smiled and Sam and Dean looked up at you two. 

You shook your head and smiled. The ride soon ends and everyone gets tired. You were tired too. You all head to the impala and get in. You climb in the back seat with Cas and rest your head on his shoulder. 

"Thanks guys. I had a blast."

Dean turns around and smiles. 

"No problem kiddo." 

You fall asleep on Cas's shoulder and he carries you into the motel. He lays you on a bed and kisses the top of your head.
