It has been about two days since Dean lost Sam. He has tried everything from bargaining with demons to selling his soul. He is broken. Everyday Y/N tries to comfort him and she tells him they will get through this and we will find a way to get Sam back.
Dean grabbed a beer and he goes to the living room and plops down on the couch. He opens it and chugs it. Y/N was doing the dishes when she realized he was thinking about Sam again. She stops washing the dishes and plops next to him. She grabs the beer from his hands, and sets it on the table.
"Dean, it's going to be okay. I promise." Y /N comforts.
"No, it won't. I promised him since he was little that I would protect him. Nobody could hurt him, and that I'd always be there for him no matter what." Dean explains.
"Hey, don't say that. He knows there is nothing you can do."
"But I want to do something. He is my brother. Don't you get it?!" He asks, his voice growing louder.
"Don't get angry with me!" Y/N retorts. "I'm trying to help you through this tough time and all I get is you yelling at me and blowing up in my face?!"
"I'm sorry." He says clearly guilty.
He pulls you into him and he sobs. You pull away and look him in the face.
"It's just so hard. You know. To, to wake up and not see him sleeping or not talking to him on a daily basis, it's just so hard." He Expresses.
"I know, I know. But we will get through this. I promise you that. We just need Cas to get his feathery ass down here." Y/N comforts.
