KELLIN'S POV
"dad?" Anahi said. My eyes were wide open. Her father? "w-what do you want?" she stuttered.
"Can I come in?" He shyly said
"Uh sure." she stepped aside to let him, me straightening up. He looked at me and looked away. I walked to a bar stool and sat down looking at the living room.
"Can we talk." he looked at me "alone?" I began to get up but Anahi put her hand on my shoulder and pushed me down on my seat
"No. He stays." she coldly said, no emotion on her face "what do you want?"
"I want to talk". He said
"Oh really after 8 years of knowing nothing about you now you want to talk? Oh but please sit. Feel at home" she said crossing her arms over her chest and smiling.
He looked down at the carpet. "How are you doing?" he said looking up at her after he sat.
"Oh I'm fine as a fiddle" she laughed. "Besides living with the dramatizing event of my father leaving when I was 8 I'm the happiest girl on earth." She said happily. I didn't know her father left them. So we have more things in common than I thought.
He sighed and said "how's everything. Your mother?" he said
"Oh we're both perfect. My mom is a great nurse and gets paid very well. She even bought this house! Oh and it even has a pool! how cool is that!?" she smiled while throwing her hands in the air. "Oh and the best part: she's dating an amazing MAN who loves her and respects her! I've never seen her so happy! Infact he's even a cop! Isn't that great! A man to protect her!" she began to pace around the room smiling wide
"She's dating someone?" he said sadly
"Mhm" she nodded "and I'm even hoping for a wedding proposal soon!" she pointed at her ring finger.
"Oh wow that's great" he looked down at his feet "what about you. School?"
"Oh schools great! I have lots of friends! I'm a healthy straight A student. I'm in dancing and I'm even thinking about trying out for the school play." She smiled. She walked over to me and wrapped her right arm around my shoulder, sending a strike of electrically through her touch. "And I'm even dating this amazing straight A student. Kellin Quinn" she smiled and reached down and....................... kissed my cheek. Her lips on my skin sent a tingling sensation, causing me to blush instantly and intensely.
She walked away and grabbed a bar stool, sitting next to me, my cheek still tingling. "Your boyfriend?" he said surprised
"Yup" she smiled and reached for my hand. She entwined it with mine. My heart began to pound like crazy as my stomach overflowed with butterflies.
"Um.... how did..... you meet?" he asked eyeing me closely.
"Oh he's my next door neighbor!" she smiled wide "he moved in the beginning of summer. He was practicing with his band and it was kinda loud so I told them to keep it down and when I saw him I guess we just......." she looked up at my eyes "clicked" and smiled. At that moment I felt like she was talking to me. I was surprised my heart didn't explode infront of everyone at that second.
"Yea we just clicked." I said looking into her big brown eyes. I had to fight the urge to kiss her.
She turned back to him and said "oh but enough about me! What about you? How many women have you gotten pregnant? Do I have any step-siblings?" she rested her chin on her palm looking very interested.
"Anahi" I warned. She ignored me
"I um. I'm single. I haven't dated anyone since.... Well I was wondering about your mother and--" he began
