June Winter

As soon as I heard the door open I turned around to see who it was, and it shocked me. Harry stood there with two other guys. What is he doing here? I thought he lived in London. I mean, yeah of course he could have friends here and was visiting them now, but the chances of seeing him here were so small. My eyes where big, staring at him still in shock. And he obviously noticed. A smile appeared on his face while he waves towards me. I do my best to give him a smile back.

"Someone is staring at you" Liz says smirking. I know what she's trying to say with that look of hers and I don't like it.

"He's a classmate" I say rolling my eyes at her. giving her a small smile, trying not to look to arrogant by accident.

"Sure he is" She laughs before walking over to the three guys to lead them to a free table.

I walk back to the kitchen trying to focus on my work again, i never expected this to happen. Maybe it's just co-incidence that he's here, I tell myself to calm down. Yeah that must be it. I walk back to the counter and stand next to Alan who is waiting for other groups of people to walk in here.

"Are you nervous?" He asks me. I look up at him and smile.

"No I'm not" I lie. I do my best to hide my nerves, not only my nerves because it's my first day here but also because Harry just walked in, but it's obviously not working. At least not for Alan.

"I see" he laughs. We talk for a bit before another couple walks into the door. It's nice talking to Alan, he distracts me from my thoughts and just let's me think about good things. "You want to help them?" He says to me pointing to the couple standing by the door.

"Yeah, okay" I walk away from him and help the couple with finding a good place for them to sit. I expected my voice to crack and to have shaky hands because of the nerves but it is actually going well. The couple wants to sit next to the window, which is also two tables away from Harrys table. Great. Now I have to walk past him all the time. I hate it, on school I'm not as nervous for seeing Harry than I am now, actually I'm not even nervous at all.. but now it's like It's something important that I can't mess up. I try not to think about why this is happening too much, because I know where my thoughts will end and it will all go wrong. I focus on the couple in front of me and ask them if I can get them a drink. After their orders where written down I head back to the kitchen to fill two glasses with red wine.

"That went alright didn't it?" I look up from the glasses to see Alan standing by the door. I laugh and nod.

"Yeah, thank god" I put the glasses on a plate and walk towards the door, making Alan to step aside so I could pass him. "I expected it to go worse" I turn my head to face Alan again and give him a smile before walking away with the wine to bring it to the couple. I hear him giggling a bit before heading into the kitchen himself.
