Chapter 15: Joy

*The next day Alfie was laying down on the couch unwilling to go to school due to his "ankle injuries". Amber felt bad for what Mick did to Alfie so she decide to help him in the morning while she was still there before going to school*

Amber-"would you like another sugar in your tea Alfie?" (she carefully handed the tea she made for him.)

Alfie-"yes please"

Amber-"what about some toast." (she took back the cup tea to add more sugar to it)

Alfie-"toast would be nice, (he smiled as she turned around heading to the kitchen. then something came to his head and he sat up a bit) OH AMBER!"

Amber-"yes Alfie? (she stopped walking and faced Alfie)

Alfie-" with peanut butter.."

Amber-"okay."

Alfie-"oh and Amber!!"

Amber-"yup."

Alfie-"A little bit of honey, honey. (he smirked and she finally made it to the kitchen passing Jerome and Fabian at the dinning room table)

Fabian-" So Mick and Amber are definitely finished then?"

Jerome-"Well it looks like it.."

Fabian-"I mean, I can't believe she went on a date with Alfie. I mean, what's next, cats and dogs living in harmony?" (Mick walked into the dinning room )

Amber-"I hope your pleased with yourself, Alfie's in a lot of pain."

Mick-(after hearing his voice he saw a bowl of fruit and just took instead of having to hear her and leaving fabian fruitless.) "oh please" (he left and Nina came running in)

Nina-"Can I see your phone, the one with the symbols form the painting."

Fabian-"yeah, (he gave her his phone, and Jerome made his way over to Alfie)sure, hear you." (Fabian looked up at Alfie and Jerome. Alfie sat up all the way with no problem and high fived Jerome)

Jerome-(whispering to Alfie) "That was by far the greatest thing I've ever seen."

Alfie-"(whispering back to Jerome)"The greatest thing ever!"

Fabian-"HOW'S THAT ANKLE ALFIE??!!"" (Alfie went back to his laying down position and Jerome's smile kind of faded.)

Alfie-"Really bad!"

Jerome-"haha" (Fabian put his focus back to Nina)

Nina-"That's what I thought, look, this symbol here, that means terrace till, or stairs. This one means buried or underneath. And this one! is the number 8. So, what if the treasure is buried underneath the 8th stair..."

Fabian-"you think!!"

Nina-"I don't know, maybe I've seen to many Indiana Jones Movies, but I think it's worth checking out."(Amber made her way from the kitchen to Alfie with his tea with extra sugar and toast. Alfie and Jerome played it cool as if Alfie was still hurting and Nina and Fabian watched)

Amber-"Here you go Alfie"

Alfie-"Thank you Amber. your so sweet"

Nina-"Amber told me what Mick did, and I think it was pretty terrible." (she folded her arms and sat back in her chair)

Fabian-"After what Alfie and Amber did I'm surprised Mick didn't do more damage..."

Nina-"Why what did they do?!

Fabian-"They went on a date..!"

Nina-"WHAT! (she started giggling as she had the thought of Amber and Alfie dating in her head) How is the possible, are we talking about the same Alfie!?"
