Chapter 16: The Party

*After a long night, victor decide to test the students staying at Anubis House. He planted a black feather on the top of the locked attic door, so that if it opens the feather would fall and he'd know someone has been up there. Everyone was downstairs eating Trudy's delicious breakfast. Trudy suddenly came back with a pot of eggs over the table.*

Trudy-"More eggs anyone?!"

Alfie-"oh yeah!"

Fabian-"yes, me pleas."

Patricia-"Did you hear about Victor ? He fell down the stairs last night and broke his leg" (Alfie started laughing, and so did a couple of them more, but Trudy didn't find it funny)

Trudy-"Do exaggerate Patricia."

Alfie-" egg-aggerate! (he pointed thinking he heard a joke)  nice one Trud's" (giving her a nickname)

Jerome-"Terrible yolk Alfie!" (everyone laughed at Jerome' joke.)

Trudy-"It's a sprained ankle that's all!" (Victor walked in)

Victor-" A very painful sprained ankle!" (scared Trudy)

Trudy- *gasp* "Victor, how do you do that? and with a limp to?"

Victor-"someone sabotage that floor board on purpose!" 

Trudy-"oh know, that floor boards been like that for ages! I remember telling you about it last year when repairs were being done."

 Fabian-"yeah, yeah. that's right, I have tripped over myself sometimes."

Nina-"yeah, same..." (she put her head down trying to avoid contact with Victor)

Victor-"Someone...! is up to something! and I intend to find out what it is. and who." (Fabian and Nina looked at each other a bit in fear. after about 10 more minutes everyone headed to school. once Fabian and Nina were clear they bean discussing the situation )

*at school in the main hallway*

Fabian-"okay, Victor is on to us, and I don't think we should go back up into the attic for a while."

Nina-"we have to. That key opened something Fabian, I don't know what it is, but I know i want to know."

Fabian-" you know, for someone so sweet and polite, you're quite a risk taker."

Nina-"Only when it's worth the risk. (she smiled and giggle a bit) Victor knows the key is missing, I heard him talking to Trudy last night. So we won't have much time to use it." (Fabian stood there shocked. Alfie was wearing the same mask he did the day joy disappeared and was all over Jerome trying to bug him but Jerome just kept walking).

*In the girls bathroom Patricia and Mara were talking*

Mara-"Amber was driving me crazy the last night! It was Mick this... and Mick that..." 

Patricia-"sweet that there back together again though."(Mara rolled her eyes)

Mara-" sure." (she said sarcastically )

Patricia-"What's does that mean? 

Mara-"nothing."

Patricia-" You like him don't you?!"

Mara-" No... ewww."

Patricia-"I can tell, your blushing!"

Mara-"well, he is attractive"  (she stared turning even more red and her smile grew bigger)

Patricia-*gasp* "I knew it!"

Mara-" And things were starting to go really well when we were doing homework together"
