chapter 6: Joy's things

*The next day was a weekend so everyone stayed on the house. Mick was at the table eating some breakfast and Fabian was setting up the for the rest because it was he's day to help around. In the living room Amber was reading a fashion magazine while sitting next to Mara who was studying for a test. Suddenly after looking at Mick for a bit, Amber broke her silence and talked to Mara.*

Amber-"Mara? (she looked up from her text book) Do you think Mick is over me?" (she said worried)

Mare-"no... I'm sure he's not. It's probably just your biological impulse triggering your insecurities." (she went back to her text book making Amber confused)

Amber-"okay, what ever that mean.." (they stopped talking as Nina walked in and waved with a smile. They looked at her then got back to what they were doing.)

*In the dining room*

Mick-"So what do you think of the new chick then?"

Fabian-"I think the new girl... (looking for his words and smiling) looks nice"

Mick-"Oh really!" (he started teasing him as if he knew he liked her or something)

Fabian-"No I meant she seems nice!" (Mick went back to his food shaking his head)

Mick-"okay, of course you did"(Fabian walked away finishing some things. Meanwhile Patricia still determined to find out what happened to Joy she went to Victors office)

*In Victors office he was repainting his stuffed Raven when a knock feel upon his door*

Victor-"what?" (the door opened and Patricia walked in the office)

Patricia-"Can I have Joy's home phone number!?"

Victor-"No!" (he continued painting his bird Corbiere)

Patricia-" Okay, sorry, Can I please have her number?"

Victor-"No it is against school rules to disclose personally details!" 

Patricia-"But I really want-"

Victor-"NO!"

Patricia-" But I want to call her!" (she said desperately )

Victor-"no, now go away"(Patricia saw Joy's things on his desk)

Patricia-"You will send those things back to her tomorrow, won't you?

Victor-"Yes"

Patricia-"First class?"

Victor- (he got annoyed) "I have told you yes! Now for Heaven's sake please leave me in peace!!! (Patricia rolled her eyes then walked out of his office quickly closing the door behind her.)

*In  the living room Mick had sat in between Mara and Amber. He had his arm wrapped around Amber as they were both looking at a magazine. And Nina and Fabian kept looking at each other from a distance and smiling each time they sought each other*

Amber-"Mostly A's, your the shy type! (she was talking about a quiz they just took in the magazine) That hilarious and so wrong!!" (they both laughed at the results they got and Patricia came down complaining) 

Patricia-"I can't believe that creep won't give me Joy's home number!! (she took a seat in a solo chair that was next to Nina's and not noticing) At least she should get her stuff back the day after tomorrow"

Mara-"That's good, you'll be able to ring her then.." (Patricia smiled a bit then looked at her phone, she then noticed Nina sitting next to her and her smile went away)

Patricia-"I know you've got something to do with this newbie! (Nina looked at her annoyed and a bit scared) And I'm gonna find out what it is!"

Nina-"So you've mentioned, (she went back to her book ) 10 times." (she whispered a  bit loud so Patricia would hear)
