Taps foot.
Snaps fork in half.
Stares at food.
Stares at friends.
Rips napkin in half.
Ughhh! I hate waiting in lunch lines.
They are so annoying. We literally only have 30 minutes to eat lunch. Why do they make us spend so much time in the lines when our lunch time is already super short?I will take the nachos please.
No , not the sloppy joes, the nachos.
So, the lunch ladies at our school are practically deaf .. Like literally. If you ask them for extra cheese, you don't get any cheese at all. You have a 1 in 100 chance of getting what you asked for.
So, I love that moment of relief when you finally escape the lunch line after they hand you a dirty piece of fruit( I throw mine out).
But after facing the hardships of the lunch line, you are faced with a new problem.. Who should you sit with?
In 7th grade, some peers are borderline best friends. And some of your friends may not like your other friends. This is where it gets complex.
So , I usually sit with Saber. And this year, I made a new friend named Kennedy Kaur. She is new here because she moved from Thailand because of her dad's work. She is really sweet and fun, and she is definitely one of my new best friends. I could say a lot more peers are like my best friends .. And when they invite me over , I'm not always sure if I should sit with them or not. And this is why 7th grade is trickier.. Because in 6th grade, you sit with someone for a day and they probably won't care if you don't sit with them again. But for some reason, I feel like more people care in 7th grade, about everything!
Sometimes I'm relieved when lunch is over , and sometimes I wish it would be an hour long so that I could keep hanging out with my pals. But today was one of those days where I could not wait to go back to Related Arts....
