I AWOKE TO THE SIGHT of Colby staring at me with his mesmerizing icy blue eyes. He's wearing grey sweatpants and a black shirt that says: I LOVE MY GIRLFRIEND <3 and he also has a wide grin stretched across his face. "Morning, sunshine," he greets. "Happy Valentine'a Day."

"Morning, babe. Happy Valentine's Day to you too."

He leans down and pecks me on the lips. "Come on, let's go downstairs," he replies. "There's a special breakfast I want to make you."

"Okay."

I climb out of bed, along with Colby, and he gives me a piggy back ride downstairs. Entering the living room, he dumps me on the couch and enters the kitchen. That's when Tricia enters the living room. She plops down beside me on the couch and yawns. "Morning," she replies cheerfully as she turns to me. "Happy Valentines' Day."

"Happy Valentine's Day," I answer, smiling at her. I get up from the couch and enter the kitchen to sit at the bar stool. "Mm, it's starting to smell good," I comment.

"Mm-hmm."

He finishes making the breakfast and then serves it. "You want some breakfast?" Colby asks, glancing at his sister in the living room.

"No, thank you," she answers.

He shrugs his shoulders. He sits down and starts eating his food. "Mm, babe," I reply. "This is a great breakfast. Thanks for making breakfast."

"You're welcome," he answers, turning to me and smiling.

After we finish breakfast, I go upstairs and Colby follows me. "What are you doing?" he asks curiously.

"About to take a shower," I answer, grabbing a clean pair of underwear and a clean bra from my top drawer. "What are you doing?"

"Just going to check on my Facebook page. Have a fun shower." He chuckles as I shut the bathroom door.

I turn the shower on and strip down to my birthday suit. I step in and let the steaming hot water hit my body.

I squirt my strawberry smelling shampoo in the palm of my hand and massage it into my hair. I finish washing my hair, face, and body and then step out. I wrap a fairly big towel around myself and put my clean black, pink polka dotted thongs on. I let the towel drop and put my pink and black zebra print bra on. Entering my room, I find Colby sitting on my bed, playing on my iPhone. When he hears me enter the room, he glances up at me and smiles. I return the smile. "What are we going to go do today?"

"There's someplace I want to take you."

Nodding, I step into my closet and pick out what I'm going to wear. I finally settle on my black skinny jeans, my white camisole tank, my black T-shirt which says: I LOVE MY BOYFRIEND <3, and my high top Batman Converse. I change into that and throw my towel in the hamper. I go over to my bed and notice Colby is still playing on my iPhone. I snatch it away from him playfully. "Hey, I—"

"What was that?" I smirk.

"Nothing," he chuckles.
