COLBY GRABS MY SHAKY HAND and we go to stand beside Daddy as he answers the door. "Mi Mi," a girl's voice replies happily as she envelopes Daddy in a hug.

"Hi, Adrian," he replies, giving her a kiss on the hand like a gentlemen.

"Aw, you two have nicknames for each other," I reply. "That's so cute."

She smiles at me before introducing herself, "Hi. My name is Adrianna Hicks. Your father has told me so much about you. It's nice to finally meet you."

"You too," I answer, smiling at her.

"Oh, and this is her fiancé, Colby Middleton," Daddy replies, gesturing to Colby.

"Nice to meet you," she replies, shaking his hand. "My name's Adrianna."

Colby smiles at her.

In addition, Adrianna also introduces us to her son, Christian Bishop. "This is my son, Christian Bishop."

We all smile at him.

After the introduction, Adrianna and Christian follow us into the living room and Daddy turns to me. "How about you show Christian your room," he suggests to me. (I'm not seven anymore, but whatever.)

I shrug.

Entering our room, Christian sits in the big white bean bag, while Colby sits in the big black bean bag and pulls me down to sit in his lap.

"So," Christian begins, "how long have you two been dating?"

I'm about to answer, but Colby cuts me off, "We've been together for six months."

'Why did he do that? Does he suspect something that I don't?' I thought as I glance at Christian.

"And y'all are engaged?" he asks, cocking an eyebrow curiously.

"Yeah," Colby answers. "But I'm leaving for college next month for four years. So when I return we will have been engaged for four and a half years."

"Mm."

Two and a half hours later, Christian, Colby, and I are sitting in the living room, watching Sweet Home Alabama while Daddy and Adrianna are in Daddy's room, doing only God knows what. I hear Adrianna giggling as I hear Daddy's sucking. 'Gross!' Just thinking about it, sends goose bumps up my spine and Colby starts rubbing my back. "Are you cold, baby?" he asks.

"I'm fine," I reply. "Just thought of something gross."

"Oh."

After the movie, we get off the couch and go to my dad's room and I lightly push the ajar door open. The second I realize what's happening, I wish I hadn't.

Instantly, Colby shields my eyes. Laying across the bed is a shirtless Adrianna and Milo is hovering over her shirtless and they're in a heavy make-out session. 'Ew!' "Mom!" Christian exclaims.

Milo pulls away from Adrianna and she peers up at us. "Yes, son?"

Growling softly, he crosses his arms across his chest and cocks an eyebrow. "When are we leaving?"

"Actually, I was just going to spend the night," she answers. "You don't mind that, right?"

Annoyed, Christian groans. "Well, where the hell do you expect me to sleep?"
