WHEN I WAKE UP, I realize I'm alone in bed. I quietly climb out of bed and go downstairs to find Korey and Colby sitting in the living room, watching TV. "Do you think you could take Colby out and about today. I have to finish setting up for his surprise party," I whisper to my brother.

"Yeah," he answers. I give him a smile and a kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks, Bubba. You're the best."

I hear Colby chuckle. I flip him off playfully and then skip upstairs.

I was in the process of buttoning my jeans, when my phone starts ringing.

Grabbing it, I answer. "Hello?"

"What time does Colby's surprise party start again? I misplaced the card," Natasha replies into the phone.

"It's starts at 5:30, but you can come as early as you want."

"Okay," she answers. "Cool. See you in a little bit."

The call ends and I put my shirt on. Once I have clothes on, I go to Kimberly's house and realize the entire downstairs is decorated and the DJ booth is starting to be set up. That's when I spot Kimberly enter the living room. "Where are the boys?"

"I asked Korey to take Colby out and about, so we can finish setting up."

"Cool."

She goes into the kitchen and orders the cake while I finish setting up the DJ booth.

I had just finished tying the string around the stairway banister when the doorbell rings. I climb off the ladder and answer the door. Standing there is Natasha and Stefani. "Hey, guys. So happy you could make it."

"Thanks for inviting us," Natasha replies, giving me a hug.

I smile at her.

Pretty soon, everyone starts arriving. All his uncles, all his aunts, all his cousin, both sets of grandparents, my mom, his mom, our friend's, and mine his siblings.

At a quarter until four, I told everyone to go hide. I grab Colby's birthday boy crown and special cape. I then flick the lights off and hide myself.

At four o'clock, Korey opens the door. He flips the lights on and we all jump out and yell, "Surprise!"

Colby gasps as a surprise expression plasters across his face. "Wow," he breathes, taking in the scenery around him.

I practically pounce on top of him. "Happy birthday, baby," I reply, kissing his cheek. I put the birthday boy crown and sash on him.

"Babe, you did all this for me?" he asks, picking me up and spinning me around.

I nod as he places me down. "I also had Korey, Stefani, Natasha, and your mom's help."
