10:35pm
I don't remember how we got here.
One moment we were snuggled up to each other on the sofa watching a movie, the next we're standing on opposite ends of the living room screaming at each other. I don't even know what we're arguing about. All I know is that I'm not backing down any time soon. I'm not going to step down from this. It's either going to end up with us apologizing and making up, or me packing my things and leaving.
I suppose things were too perfect. You know how they say too much of a good thing can't be good for long? Maybe that's just what happened. Maybe it's because we've both been working so many hours lately and we're just burned out. Or, it could just be that Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy couldn't live together under the same roof, share the same bed, sit on the same couch for too long without our differences coming back out. Who knows.
All I know is I needed this.
It's been almost a month since he dropped the bomb on who he truly is and we never got around to talking about it. I need to know why.
"Why couldn't you just tell me right away?" I shout.
Draco shakes his head and rubs his temples before shouting back, "I already told you, why can't you ever just listen to me, Granger? Or is your head just far too big to be used for anything except solving cases?"
"Well, Malfoy," I spit back with venom in my voice, "at least I can show my real self to society and am not a Death Eater." I stop and gasp. "Draco, I didn't..."
"Get out," he snaps.
"Draco, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it," I try to explain.
"I said get out!" He shouts.
"Draco..."
"Get out of my house right now or I'll have you removed," he replies, his voice deathly calm.
"I'm sorry..."
"Get out, and don't bother coming back."
"You don't mean that," I plead.
He narrows his eyes at me, "You don't want to make that bet, Granger. Now get out..."
"No," I state stubbornly.
He shoots daggers at me, "It's my house, Granger. Now get out."
I stand my ground, "No, you're not running away from this, Draco. I'm staying here until we work this out."
"Fine, then sleep on the couch forever for all I care. Have fun," he replies as he makes his way out of the living room to go to his room.
I sit down on the couch and sigh, "Willow?"
I here the small elf pop into the room, "Yes, Miss Hermione, how may Willow help you?"
"Can you go to Harry's house and ask if I can watch T.R this week and then go to Ginny's and ask if I can have Korrin?" I ask the house elf.
"Yes, Willow can do that. Would Miss also like Willow to get her some sleep things?"
"Would you please? I have a feeling I'm going to be sleeping here for a while. Also, could you not mention to Draco that I asked for T.R and Korrin?"
"Willow can do that for Miss," Willow replies with a bow before she apparates out.
12:45am
I lay on the couch staring up at the ceiling when I hear fumbling from the stairs. I run over to make sure everything is okay when I see Draco stumbling down them.
