Briar's POV

"Adrian was like you, a young agent who had amazing talents, and was the best agent we had. He worked with us for three years. Last year, before you came here I found out that he had been working under another person and had spied on us.

When he was 16 he lead our best and strongest agents to a trap, 5 were killed, and 2 were injured beyond repair. He then went back to his true agency and surprised everyone by double crossing them. He killed his boss and made all the workers his servants. A year ago he kidnapped a 7 year old girl, Kaylee, who had just begun her training. We sent agent after agent to get her back but all of the agents never returned, and if they did they didn't return alive. You show the skills and potential he once did and could be a true match for him." Mr. Path stated.

"So you want me to go fight this Adrian guy and rescue Kaylee then?" I asked, ready to go kick some ass.

"Heavens no!" he replied

"WHAT!" I yelled

"You just said I was a true match I can beat him, sir".

"I know but I am not going to risk another agent, they all went to fight him and failed. I want you to use the stealth and skill you have to get Kaylee out." He said calmly

"But sir-"

He cut me off "NO, Ms. Blue YOU will use your skills to go and get Kaylee, no fighting got it?"

I wasn't going to give up without a fight "But I can-" I started to protest but he cut me off again

"Ms. Blue I WILL send another agent in if you cannot follow my orders" He snapped his eyes glaring at me as if to challenge me to question him again.

"Yes sir" I said dejectedly.

His gaze softened "You will fight him, just not yet" I looked at him and simply said,

"I understand sir" He smiled.

"Good. Now here is a file with Kaylee's information and picture" He slid a vanilla folder with Kaylee Smith on the tab.

"And here is a file about Adrian and what we know about him" Mr. Path slid another folder with Adrian Silver on the tab. "Go home, make a plan, and leave tomorrow, return with Kaylee ASAP" He informed me.

"Yes sir, thank you sir, I will not fail you." I said determined, plans already coming together in my head.

"I know you will not Ms. Blue" he said with confidence, but his eyes said differently.

I left the AES and drove my motorcycle (yeah yeah a spy on a motorcycle how tacky but when the AES pay for whatever you want then I get a kick ass awesome car that I, being almost 17 can drive) to my condo that the AES also paid for since I was yet to be a legal adult and I lived alone. I sat down at my desk and started to examine the information.

Kaylee's folder held a picture of a sweet looking girl with short pixie blonde hair and light blue eyes. "An orphan since the age of 2, parents killed in a car accident and she survived. Raised by AES since then" I read aloud to myself. "Kidnapped on first group mission by Adrian Silver." I found his picture in his folder, but the picture looked dated from when he was at the AES in the picture he had longish black hair that covered his eyes some but from what I could see he had green eyes that I could have stared at forever.

"Age 17. Strong, manipulative, and not to be trusted. Killed 5 agents, kidnapped one. Betrayed AES then overthrew his own boss and took over ruling of his old agency. Made workers servants and prisoners. Knows karate, sword fighting, and use of many other weapons." I guess fighting him may have been a little bit harder than i'd thought but I could totally still take him, or that's what I told myself. But when I do fight him, I'll be even better than he ever was, or will be. I went to sleep and dreamt of my plan, I was ready to go and rescue Kaylee.
