I didn't think Regina would say yes when I asked her to go out with me. But she did. And I feel so lucky to be with her right now. A few minutes after I asked her, I realized I needed to call Ingrid.

"Hey, Regina. I need to call Ingrid and let her know where I am. I'll be right back."

"Okay. I'll be right here."

I walked into her kitchen and dialed Ingrid' s number. She picked up after a couple rings.

"Hello?"

"Hey Ingrid. It's Dani. I just wanted to let you know that I'm at Regina's house."

"Oh. Did you ask her yet?"

"Yes. She said yes. And she knows what I am. I didn't want to lie, so I told her the truth."

"Oh. That's good. Well, have fun, then. I'll see you later. Oh, and if you want to stay the night there, I won't mind. Anyway, bye."

"Okay, bye."

I hung up and went back in the living room. I sat back on the couch, and Regina sat close to me with her head on my shoulder. I sat there, and watched T.V. for a minute.

"I have an idea."

"What is it, dear?" Regina asked as she looked up at me.

"I brought some movies in my bag. I can go get one for us to watch."

"Sure. I'll watch whatever you want."

"Okay. I'll be back."

I went into the foyer, and walked over to my bag. I got on my knees and dug through it until I found a movie I wanted to watch. I got up and walked over to the DVD player in the living room. I popped the disc into the player, and walked back over to the couch and plopped down on it. Regina laughed at that.

"So what are we watching?"

"The Hunger Games," I said with a smirk on my face.

We sat there for a few minutes watching the movie. It was silent until Effie appeared on the screen. I heard an "Oh my god" next to me.

I looked at Regina and laughed.

"Oh my god, what?"

"Seriously? You haven't noticed her pink eyelashes?" She asked.

"I've seen this a million times, and--Oh my god you're right", I said as I leaned forward and looked at the T.V.

"You pick weird movies to watch."

"Oh I'm sure you could pick something just as strange to watch."

Half an hour later, we got to one of my favorite parts of the movie. It was when Katniss is on the train, and she sticks a butter knife into the table. I laughed so hard, and then I quoted Effie when she said, "That is mahogany."

Regina just looked at me and raised an eyebrow.

"How many times have you seen this movie?"

"I have no idea, really. I stopped counting after fifty. I've had a lot of time to watch movies and read books."

"Well, you're going to spend more time with me instead from now on."

I looked at her and smiled.

"I'm okay with that."

I wrapped an arm around her, and kissed her forehead. She cuddled up to me more, and we watched most of the movie in silence. There were a few laughs and tears, though. I cried at the part where Rue died. I always do.
