The house was officially teenager proof with all the breakables in a locked room with a little over three hours to the party still. I took the courtesy of taking Clay’s money off of his dresser and ordering four pizza’s since the original MAJORS would be coming over to pre-game with us for a bit. This was going to be a wicked party tonight and I can only pray that it will go smoothly.
“Q why is Mason, Andrew, Josh, Owen, Ryan and Sean here?” Clay’s voice was muffled by the sound of clattering dishes from his chores he had to do. Yeah, he’s only a five hour drive from his mommy and he still listens to every word she says.
“Well they’re here for the pizza of course! Thanks for that by the way. Oh and you should really get used to calling them the MAJORS.” I smirked at my subtle way of telling him he bought us all supper but hey he is the newbie right?
“Jacobs! You and Clay better now? We were worried before.”
“Yeah, we’re better. We always work these things out! Don’t worry about it guys! I wonder when the pizza is going to be here?”
Clay walked out of the kitchen and looked at each original member of the MAJORS, I could tell he was contemplating how he should react from lunch today. He just gave his $100 smirk and sat down, to someone that didn’t know him they would’ve thought he was perfectly fine but I knew differently.
“So who’s ready to get this party started!” After Sean talked about getting the party started Josh started screaming P!nk’s song. The whole room burst out in laughter and you knew all tension was instantly broken. That’s what I love about these guys, nothing is awkward, ever. They’re nice to everyone unless they have a very good reason not to be.
“So let’s get some drinks and play a quick game of spin the bottle? Than we don’t have to play with everyone, ‘cause we know how out of hand those things get.” Owen was quick to explain the game plan, he always is.
“Guys, we should just avoid that game today! You know how much I hate it.”
“Come on we’ll make this one interesting I promise!”
“Fine. You’re lucky I love all you guys.”
Andrew and Clay went to get the drinks from the kitchen while I chugged mine down to use for spin the bottle. The game started out the same as every other game, stupid question’s getting tossed around, I’m just thankful it didn’t land on me. Ha. Spoke too soon. Just as my thoughts passed Ryan’s spin landed perfectly at me.
“I’ll pick truth.” I don’t know what got into me then, I don’t know why I picked truth. I never do! I always end up saying something about myself that I don’t want anyone to know. I just hope it’s not a childish question like who do you like. I am not telling anyone that Clay is slowly walking out of the friend-zone that was so deep I couldn’t even see the bottom.
“Who is the first and last guy you have slept with?”
“Well, I’ve only ever slept with one guy… and that would be Declan. Before he moved we were dating.” A blush slowly crawled up my cheeks. I haven’t thought about Declan for just over a year now. I was head over heels for that guy when he had to move. He promised me that we’d see each other again when we got out of highschool and if the feelings were still there we’d work through them. To be honest they weren’t there anymore, I haven’t talked to his for just as long as I haven’t thought about him so why would they be?
“You dated Declan? And we never knew about this?” All of the original MAJORS stared at me with shocked expressions.
“Well Declan wasn’t exactly the type of person that people kept an eye on. His face might be able to get girls and his personality, but he’s paralyzed. People never paid any attention to him.”
Clayton being the dumb-ass he is just had to open his mouth. “Wait… how does having sex with someone that’s paralyzed work?”
The whole room groaned and mumbled a big ‘we aren’t talking about this Clay’. I just chuckled to myself, of course he would ask that. I got up and walked away from the circle making my point that I was done with the game and that they can either be done too or play without. So pretty well I was ending the game cause I knew them well enough to expect that they would keep playing.

People were streaming into the party non-stop. Soon enough we might have to kick people out for overcrowding. The whole main floor of the house was full and people were slowly slipping upstairs and into the backyard. If Josh ever thought he would’ve got this people to come to my house he might be even dumber than I thought. I had never been to a part as big as this one and honestly I hope I never do again. You couldn’t walk without running into a couple making out or people groped and grinded on by people that I didn’t even know there first names. I decided I would make my way to the front of the house so I could tell people to go home if I didn’t know who they were.
When I finally got to the front of the house I grabbed the first decent guy I saw to dance with so I didn’t seem like such a loser. After about ten minutes the door started opening and someone I didn’t recognize but was strangely familiar stood there. A bright blonde haired boy with shining blue eyes. I looked into the eyes for a little longer but couldn’t figure out who it was. He certainly was good looking, gorgeous even. But if I didn’t know him he shouldn’t be here so I walked up to him.
“Um, excuse me but who are you?”
“Quinn?” He smiled and I couldn’t help but know that smile like the back of my hand. “It’s Declan.”
