A new Threat

Crimson Shadow VS Mane 6

----Time skip to the next afternoon because I can----

The air was still as the mane 6 and Celestia approached the field. Crimson was waiting for them. He was laying on the grass, looking at a single flower.He sighed

"One day..." 

He stood up and faced the others for battle. Celestia nodded towards him and lowered the sun.

"We are ready." Celestia said "Where is your army?"

"And YOUR army... I don't see one either." Crimson snapped back at her as he turned the flowers stem pitch black, The petals remaining white.

Rainbow Dash started to fly up, ready for battle.

"Lets do this" she said, she charged, but stopped. AJ was holding her back.

"Hold on, sugarcube. We need a plan."

"I don't need one." Rainbow told her, breaking free. she charged at Crimson, who almost instantly dodged. Rainbow was suprised, but acted like she wanted that to happen. She flew straight up into the sky, beyond where Crimson could see.

"So we are going to play THAT game, are we? okay then...." he said, using the shadows of the castle to morph into a dragon.

"...GAME ON." he took off, the force of his wings almost sending the mane 6 flying.

Crimson was above the clouds, but still, he couldnt find Rainbow. he started to look around, and he felt something on his back. he shifted out of the dragon form, and used the remaining shadow energy to patch his wing back up.

"How do you do that? It is so... COOL!!" she said, amazed.

"Well, I'll tell you..." he smiled, and blasted rainbow out of the skies. She landed on a cloud, and Crimson landed with her.

"I use the shadows around me to power my abilities, like so..." he told her as he took Rainbow Dash's shadow from her.

"Hey, Give that..... whoa" she was cut off by her shadow turning into a small bird.

"You see? It's simple. Let me give that back to you." he said as he gave back her shadow.

"Now then.... do we not have a fight to continue?" Crimson asked.

"Oh... right!" Dash told him, taking off.

"It's all going according to plan..." he said as he took off behind her.

"You're going to have to go higher to avoid me!" he was right on Dash's tail. Dash fell for it, and flew even higher.

"Thats right... let your shadow grow bigger..." Crimson said to himself as he tailed Dash.

Rainbow stopped.

"What's the matter? Can't go any higher?"

"It's not that... it's just... why are you TELLING me what to do? Aren't you just supposed to fight me?" she asked him.

"Here's a hint: look down"

Dash looked down and sure enough, her shadow was giant. she was amazed.

"How did you-"

"Oh I assure you, It wasn't me who did this... though I will be using it." he cut off Dash as he started to absorb her shadow. Dash saw that this was the time to attack, she charged him, and Crimson stayed still. She hit him square in the center, sending him flying back. He crashed into the ground with the force of a meteor. Crimson got out of the crater that he made.
