A new Threat

King Sombra

"Hello Sombra, enjoying the view?"

Crimson walked over to the balcony where Sombra was standing.

"What are you doing here? You are supposed to be gathering people to defeat those meddlesome ponies!"

Crimson started laughing.

"WHAT'S SO FUNNY?" Sombra asked

"Well, 'sir' you make it seem like I serve you..."

Crimson looked at the guards around the room and shadows surrounded them, the shadows dropped, and they were dark guards.

"... That's not what's happening. I'm sorry 'sir', But It seems this game we play has become. . . boring... Time to take a player out then!"

"This is an outrage! I gave you this power, now you are forever bound to serve me!" Sombra

"Well sir, Forever is a Very long time. We need to....."

Crimson walks up to Sombra, and Smiles his Evil grin.

"...Change things up a bit."

"But.... I don't understand.... You got this power from ME! and I REFUSE to be defeated!"

"Sorry 'sir', I don't control the rules of the game... I just play my turn..."

Crimson then charged up what seems like an orb, Sombra thinks its an attack and dodges, but Crimson fires two shots straight up into the sky.

Sombra laughs

"You missed by a longshot."

Crimson smiled

"Who misses an illumination spell?" He said, as the sky lit up bright red.

Luna, Ivory, and several other dark guards landed.

Sombra started backing up.

"I'm not going down that easy!" Sombra shouted, turned into a shadow, and vanished. But since the Illumination spell was lighting up the area around them, Sombra was easily seen. Crimson grabbed Sombra out of shadow form and pinned him against the wall.

"Not fair." Sombra said.

"Compared to the things you've done during a fight? This is perfectly fair." Crimson says as he throws him to the center of the room.

Sombra started laughing as he turned into a giant shadow monster. One of the Illumination spells fell straight through Sombra's shadow, and dragged Sombra out of the form. Crimson was In control of Sombra's monster now. Sombra was Surrounded.

"Even if you somehow beat me... you will never defeat the others." Sombra said, smiling.

"I have a plan for everything." Crimson told him, as the shadow monster attacked. Since it was weakened by the Illumination spell, Sombra beat it easily with a single blast. But as he blasted the Shadow monster, Crimson was no longer at the other side of the room, he was right behind Sombra.

"Checkmate" he says as he sends Sombra crashing into a wall. Sombra tried to get up, but fell.

"This...Power.... I never gave you this much power... where did you go to get this much...."

Crimson walked up to Sombra.

"Let's just say, An ambush wasn't the only reason I went to the Everfree forest... I made a friend there who was more than willing to help." Crimson says, throwing a glass bottle to the side of the room.

"That's...not fair... you threw the fight!"

"So what if I did? I never would have beaten you with my normal powers. So I decided to make some powers of my own." Crimson says, Turning into multiple animals, dragons, and ponies.

"Shapeshifting... But that's impossible... The only person to achieve that is..." Sombra said, amazed.

"Dead? Well, looks like I'm a dead mare walking then." Crimson told him in a stern voice.

"No.... You're.... I tried to control...."

"Everyone knows there are 2 things you cannot control: The dead, and pure darkness. I am a shadow form of the former savior of Equestria, who passed a long time ago... So you could say I'm both." Crimson said, kneeling down.

"But... why? Why choose to possess someone as innocent as Onyx?" Sombra wondered.

"Because Onyx Isn't just a pony... He IS the savior of Equestria... the soon-to-be savior, that is... Let's just say, I'm not the only one In this Pony's head... I'm more of a guardian to Onyx. But... Now that you know... I'm going to have to banish you now... Luna, If you would kindly send him to the dark lands, beyond the Everfree forest. He should learn his lesson there."

Light began to surround Sombra, as he is teleported.

"Well, now that that is done..."

Crimson walks out to the balcony, and looks at Canterlot, staring at Celestia and Lunas Castle

"Now... 1 Player remains... Time to finish this game..."
