A new Threat

The Darkest Night

Princess Celestia landed on her balcony

"Twilight will be fine." She said to herself

Then she heard some ponies hooves clacking in the hall to Luna's room. She turned around to see Crimson! She ran over and stopped him.

"What are you doing here?" She stopped him right before he entered her sisters room.

"Oh just thought somepony could join me in my fight to overthrow Sombra. while Shining armor WOULD have been a good selection for my army, having another Alicorn with me will definitely secure Sombra's defeat..."

"Well I can assure you, I will never give in to your dark ways" Celestia said, preparing for battle.

Crimson smiled, His spiked teeth showing.

"Yes... while YOU would make a powerful ally...you are the princess of light... and light... doesn't go well with shadows"

Crimson then turns into a shadow, slips under Lunas door, and locks it.

As he got out of shadow form, Luna was looking out on the balcony. He now had a power to perfectly Mimic anyone's voice, so he decided to try it out. he walked up behind Luna...

"Sister, Someone has come to see you."

Luna turns around "Sure, sister, who is visiti-" she meets Face-to-Face with Crimson.

"ME....."

"wh-who are y-you?" Luna asks, shaking

"I am the Voice... The one that speaks inside your head... the one that whispers things.... Evil, Vile, Terrible, Wicked things...."

Crimson walks around the room.

" I am the cold chill running down your spine... The Voice that tells you... you are not alone. . . as a kid, you thought you saw a monster in your closet... you did.... You thought A monster was watching you... waiting for the right time to strike.... And I was..."

He walked right up to Luna

"Now, you are going to try and run away from me.... But we both know.... You cannot run away forever... You get tired.... I don't.... When you slow down... I'll catch you...."

He looked out the window, pointing to the sun.

"The light in you will eventually fade away... It will betray you, like it did so Many Years ago. You will be surrounded by complete..... DARKNESS"

A dark cloud starts surrounding Luna as she cries for help. As soon as the shadow completely surrounded her, all she could see was a pair of red, glowing eyes. And a cold... bone-chilling voice.

"And the darkness... IS MY... WORLD... and once you are there... there will be no escape..."

The shadow dropped, and the process was complete. Her eyes were like Crimsons, and her coat and mane were pitch black. Celestia burst through the door, and saw what he turned her sister into...

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY SISTER?" Celestia raged

"Oh I just, invited her into the game. I promise I will return her Unharmed... Mostly." Crimson laughed and then all the shadows in the room surrounded Luna and Crimson. When the shadows were gone, so were they.

Guards soon flowed into the room. One of them asked "Your majesty, are you okay?"

"Luna . . . no. . . I could have stopped him....." And then, she dropped to the ground, and called for the only people who have fought him before.

Shining Armor, and Twilight Sparkle
