Y/N POV
Today is a wonderful day.. even without my parents, because I know they're safe with Lady Irene. And.. whoever doesn't believe in her, I think their going to be a shadow knight instead..

Christmas is near by almost!!! I'm so excited like crazy. Except.. my parents aren't here exactly... Uncle Kacy is coming for Christmas. So is grandpa. I hope he doesn't mind having my friends including Levin's little sister and... their parents.

Ugh.. I'm going to cook dinner while gramps makes his special strawberry puff cakes. Hmm...

There's going to be a Winter Holiday Dance next week and I'm going. Except the problem is I'm wearing a dress. And I mean this, dress..

(Not the kind of hair tho. The dress and jacket. Also not the handbag.. the necklace will be something else)

I mean... at least it doesn't show anything. It covered up until the neck area and mid knee. My legs aren't hairy so I guess that's good?.. My mom used to wear dresses. She likes them but not as much surprisingly. I don't like them...

Well, my dress is ready!.. and so is everything. I sang a song for the Winter Holiday Dance. Just one tho. And I think they're going to play Levin's song, Safe and Sound..

I went into the living room to see the Christmas tree Levin helped me decorate and pick out. Now lately, Levin and I have been hanging out more than usual. I mean, it's great! Levin is my friend after all. But, now and then, I get this weird feeling in my chest.. it I just brush it off. It's not the big of a deal right?

I hummed as I walked out the door and closing it up. School is just... school. I've catches up on the homework and everything now.

Like adults say, 'Education first than freedom.' Mhmm. I agree. Cause later I'm getting into a college. They say college you have to learn by your own. The teachers don't play around. They teach you, you learn it and practice it. Geez... it's going to be tough..

As I walked out the door, I saw Lex looking down, hands in her... sweatshirt???? Since when did she wear sweatshirts? Because I always see her just wear shirts and shorts or skirts or even dresses! What?

I came speed walking to her and saw her eyes sparkling with almost nearly, tears...

"Lex.." I said her name as I put my hand in her left shoulder. She looked up at me with a sad looking face.

"W-What happened??" I asked her worried.

It was still early so.. it should be fine talking a little bit.

"I-I'm fine..." She said sniffing and almost crying out tears.

"C'mon you can tell me. Remember we promised?" I said to her smiling sweetly. "Friends for life, forever and ever." I said helding out my pinky.

Her mouth stood open a little and it finally turned into a smile. She held out her pinky and connected it with mine.

"Friends for life, forever and ever." We said at the same time and promised.

"Alright so..." She started and looked down. "Y-Yip got with that Bella girl.." She said finally breathing out.

My eyes widen and I looked at her worried. I knew it... I doubt Yip was going to be with Alexis. Yip just sees her as a friend. Nothing more. I told her Kyle is better... but no, she doesn't listen... she just needs to find out.

"Lex... I told ya. Yip is least likely to pick you.." I said hugging her.

Tears landed on the back of my neck. "I-I knew it... b-but I just loved Yip... it's the only person I l-love..." she said tearing up.

I pulled away and smiled at her warming. "Your heart chooses whether you want to or not. Your heart tells you who you really desire and love the most. You'll find Mr. Right someday. In the future or now." I said.

She smiled back to me and looked at me. "You really know how to make me feel better..." She gave me a last hug and pulled away. "C'mon! Homeroom is almost started. You especially don't want to miss it since it's with Levin~"

I groaned as we started running to our class. "I already told you. I don't see anything." I said.

"Remember~ the heart chooses not you." She stated and went into her classroom.

The heart chooses. Not you... that statement kept repeating in my head...
