LOVE IS..

Chapter 1

Getting off the airplane all she could think to herself was did I make the right choice? Well Kaylee likes it here and at least I have her here with me. She goes to get her luggage and while she is waiting she checks her cellphone and sees a text message from her mother that says I miss you already Ayana and it brings a tear to her eye. The other text is from her best friend Kaylee she is sending her the address of the house they will be sharing with Kaylee's boyfriend Jack. She hails a cab and is quite proud that she was able to do it rather quickly. She gives the driver the address to the house in Brooklyn. When she gets to the house she remembers that Kaylee told her the key would be in the big pot by the door. She finds the key and opens the door she notices balloon and a banner that says WELCOME AYANA!!! She is very excited and overwhelmed at the same time. She finds her room and begins to unpack.

                              Kaylee finally comes home with her boyfriend Jack and he seems very nice and the way he looks at Kaylee makes Ayana's heart very happy. Kaylee looks so in love with Jack and she cannot wait to get to know the guy who finally won her best friend's heart.

"So..." Kaylee begins. "We are having a party in your honor tonight!!!" Oh no Ayana thinks to herself she does not like to be the center of attention like Kaylee does but she decides to give in what choice did she have?

"Ok Kaylee , that's fine." Ayana says.

"Like you had a choice!' Jack laughs.

"Very true!" Kaylee says.

"I have an appointment with this photographer company called Industry INC, they are contracted to take all the red carpet, movie photos and models I hope I have what it takes." Ayana says.

"What time is your appointment?" Kaylee asks

"Tomorrow I have to be there at 8 at night. I have my portfolio ready to go" Ayana is very excited that she gets to photograph an up and coming actor to see if she has what it takes to work with this amazing company. She is ready to spread her wings and fly.

                                 Later that night people begin to arrive to the party. There are a lot of artsy types which Ayana loves. Jack introduces her to his brother Riley. Wow she thinks that he is super cute and she blushes at her thoughts he seems very shy but also very nice. Jack also introduces her to a very animated guy named Johnny who during the night follows her around like a lost puppy.

"Hey I can show you around this week if you want?" Johnny asks hopeful.

"Sure that would be nice." Ayana says.

"Hey will you be working with Kaylee at the pottery place?" he asks.

"Yup for now until my career takes off." She says holding up her camera in her hand that's around her neck as she snaps a photo of Johnny.

"Wow that camera is so sick!" Johnny says admiring her camera.

"Thanks it was a gift from my mom and dad." Ayana says proudly" I would have not been able to afford it myself."

"That is really cool." He says.

                             As the party is ending everyone says goodbye. Riley comes and gives her a high five. She thinks that he looks just like a model. His skin is dark in color and his eyes are the bluest she has ever seen he has blond hair which makes him look more exotic , the contrast of skin color and his eyes is stunning to her. She notices that he has tattooed arms which are very well defined. Johnny interrupts her thoughts by hugging her in a huge bear hug that last longer than it should have. It makes Ayana laugh.

The next morning Ayana is very excited for her new adventure. She has everything that she needs ready to go for her appointment. Ayana makes her way to the kitchen and see Kaylee making breakfast.

"Hey who is the actor that you will be working with tonight?" Kaylee asks.

"I don't know Ryan something or other." Ayana says in between bites of toast. Kaylee begins to smile and laugh. " Why are you laughing?" Ayana asks puzzled.

"Oh nothing, hey Johnny likes!" Kaylee says.

"He hardly knows me!" She says as Jack walks in with fluffy robe that says RYAN on it. "Who is Ryan?" Ayana asks Jack.

"Uhhh My full name is Jack Ryan duh!" Jack laughs.

"Oh duh I forgot that." Ayana laughs.

"Babe that is not your full name." Kaylee teases him and he gives her a death stare and laughs.

"What is your full name?" Ayana asks.

"My full first name is Jackson,tell no one or you shall die." Jack laughs The phone rings and Jack answers it " Yo hold up let me see if she is available, Ayana it's for you."

"For me? Who is it? Hello? She says into the phone.

"Hey Ayana, it's me Johnny." Ayana looks at Jack and shakes her head and smiles at him.."Would you like to go to lunch with me today? Johnny asks.

"Um, sure why not." She says "I'll see you soon." She says as she hangs up.

"Hey are you excited for tonight? Jack asks.

"Very!" Ayana says with a huge smile

"So you are going on a date with Johnny Huh?" Jack laughs.

"It's not a date." Ayana says.

                               Half hour later Johnny arrives and he takes her to a small diner that Ayana thinks is just amazing and she loves the atmosphere there. They talk as if they have known each other forever. For Ayana it is more of a friendship vibe but she thinks Johnny may want more than that. He walks her back to the brownstone house they find Jack on the stoop working on his laptop.

"Heeeeey guys how was the date?" Jack teases.

"Fin.." Johnny begins to say and Ayana interrupts "Not a date."

                           Finally the time has arrived for Ayana to go to her appointment. The Company sends a car for her. She puts all her gear in the trunk car with Jack's help. She finally gets to the location of the shoot and early at that. She decides to grab a pretzel from a friendly street vendor and heads into the building. She is met by a short rotund man who is talking very fast and she cannot catch everything that he is saying.

" I'm Tony by the way. Nice to meet ya. Here is the name of the actor that you will be photographing tonight." Tony says as he points to a name on the sheet it says Riley Ryan. She thinks that name sounds familiar. "Quickly set stuff up over there, he will be here soon." He yells as he walks away.

                                    She sets up her gear and lights in record time. She hears a metal door being raised and looks up from adjusting her camera and sees her model for the night Riley JACK'S BROTHER RILEY!! She is in complete shock, when Riley sees her he is just as shocked as she is. They both laugh nervously.

"We need shots of Riley in different outfits and some shirtless." Tony yells from across the room.

                                She begins to take frame after frame. He takes his shirt off and she is awe of his body and notices that the tattoos are gone and realizes soon that they had been covered up by tons of makeup. Ayana is beginning to wrap up the shoot Riley's manager walks in.

"Hey the production team wants a photo of Riley with a female." He says.

"Ok, who is the model? Where is she" Ayana asks.

"You girl, you are exactly what I am looking for." His manager says as he points directly at Ayana.

"Wait WHAT?" Ayana asks very confused. She looks at Riley who is just as confused.
