The look that washed over my brother's face was a mix of confusion and happiness. I could tell that he was having a hard time processing seeing me. Even without my real memories, it felt as if I hadn't seen Constance in years. Could something bad between us have happened? Could that have been why Constance was hesitant to say or do anything when he saw me? After a few seconds of silence Constance finally decided to take a few steps closer to me but stopped when he was half way to me.

"Um...hey August." Constance said while scratching the back of his neck and looking down. He didn't meet my eyes out of nervousness.

"Hey." I replied plainly, I didn't know what else to say to him.

"Hey Valentine." Constance said looking up to meet Valentine's eyes.

"Hey Constance!" Valentine shouted cheerfully.

"Wait you two know each other?" I said with my attention on Valentine, out the corner of my eye I could see that Constance was caught off guard by my question.

"Of course! We're both summoners and all summoners know each other. Or maybe I just know all the summoners. Well it's not like there's a lot of summoners, I mean there's only three in the entire world so it's kind of not the hard to know each other but I mean of course I would know you're brother since you and me are best friends and all-" Valentine stopped rambling once he saw my glare which was a silent "shut up".

"Why did you ask if we knew each other?" Constance asked genuinely confused.

"Oh right you don't know!" Valentine said.

"Know what?" Valentine told Constance about my memory problem. As he was explaining it to my brother I could see Constance had started to look hurt. As if he were the one who stole my memory.

"August I'm sorry." Constance said as he embraced me in a tight hug.

"It's okay...I'm slowly getting my memories back because of my visions so it's not so bad." I said trying to lighten the mood and to make Constance feel less bad.

"Let's go into my room we can talk more there." Constance suggested.

I looked at Valentine. He nodded encouragingly. Constance led Valentine and me to his room. It was small almost studio like, minus the kitchen. The room

was much like my room back at the Vincent Royal. Constance's room had a dresser with a TV on top, carpeted floor, a window above the bed closest to the wall, and a bathroom. Basically it was exactly the same except instead of one bed there were two.

"Random question," I said. "Why are there two beds?" Valentine and I sat next to each other on one of the beds.

"I have a roommate. You'll meet him later, he's patrolling the town." Constance explained as he sat on the other bed.

"How come there's nobody in the town?" Valentine asked suddenly.

"Valentine I told you it's early, everybody's sleeping."

"There's nobody in this town but me and my roommate." Constance confessed. Valentine looked at me with one eye brow raised. He was wordlessly gloating at the fact that he was right.

"So what happened?" I asked ignoring Valentine's expression. Constance looked at me with confusion all throughout his face. Maybe I was supposed to know what happened. I wasn't sure but I could tell something was eating at Constance.
