How had Andromache appeared in my bedroom? How had he even known where I lived? I felt the same chilling sensation run through my body as I felt when I was around Abraxas. Wasn't Andromache supposed to be a good demon? By the way he was smiling devilishly and staring at me with evil in his eyes I would've thought otherwise. I tried to speak but words refuse to leave my mouth. It was as if they were scared too. Andromache saw my fear and he laughed at me.
"Oh my dear boy! I am not here to cause you harm. As Valentine previously stated, I am a demon of good intention." Andromache sounded like he was trying to reassure me but the very sound of his demonic voice was convincing me otherwise. My voice was shaky, my muscles were tense, and my knees were shaking. A demon was in my presence and I was scared out of my mind.
"Why a-are you h-here?" I said stuttering on my words.
"I completely understand your hesitation and fear August but I speak the truth when I say I am not here to harm you." Andromache sounded more serious. I started to relax. If he was trying to harm me I would've been dead.
"So why are you here?" I asked, my muscles losing their tension.
"You may not remember due to your present state of amnesia but you requested yourself that I find you." If what Andromache was saying was true, than it had been the me with all my memories that asked him because I knew the person I was without the memories never did. I eyed the demon skeptically, not really sure if I could trust the word of a demon.
"Why should I believe you?" I questioned Andromache.
"A perfectly reasonable question. As of now I am not at full capacity with my power because I am currently in my astral form but I can restore one of your memories. That is...if you trust me." Andromache raised an eyebrow and smiled. Everything about Andromache screamed at me not to trust the demon and just walk away. But I assumed the old me would trust the demon because I found my body moving on its own towards Andromache.
"How...how would you give me a memory back?" I asked, still not sure if I believed what Andromache had said.
"In my astral form we cannot touch for I am not corporeal so eye contact shall suffice." Andromache explained. It was a little awkward but I sat on the bed next to Andromache so that we were eye level. Andromache looked deep into my eyes. His leaf green eyes slowly causing me to get lost in reality. Andromache said some unrecognizable words that I couldn't tell if they were English or some foreign language. As my vision began to fade, I swayed lazily left and right until my vision was gone and everything was black, I couldn't even see myself.
I was in intense internal pain. I couldn't exactly pinpoint the source but it hurt the same. Suddenly trees a few hundred feet away from me began to form in the midst of the darkness. Then grass began to form below me. A tree began to form in the center of the clearing of grass. It grew to stand above me by at least ten miles. The tree didn't have any accessories such as branches or leaves; it was just one solid tower of wood except for the maroon medieval style door placed at the bottom. Once the scenery had formed, I was able to locate the source of the internal pain. My brain.
The feeling I had was different from when I had my first vision. When I had my vision it was pretty clear that I was separate from what I was seeing. That the person I was in the vision and the person watching the vision were the same person but in different times. But the feeling I had being under Andromache's spell was different. It felt as if I were actually reliving the memory in my body in present time instead of observing the past and being a spectator. That's why the pain in my brain felt so real.
