I wake, pulling up the blankets so the chill of the air doesn't freeze me. I turn onto my side where Peeta lies, steadily breathing with a soft expression on his face. I hear his soothing voice in my head,

"You love me, real? Or not real?"

"Real." I whisper without any hesitation. I smile. He seems to have heard me, because his sky blue eyes gazing into my seam grey ones. He leans in and kisses me. I blush, his warm lips making me always want more. I break away after a while, and slide my hand into his.

"I'm hungry." I whisper, smiling.

"Why don't we have some breakfast then?" He says smiling back at me.

We slowly get up and trudge down the stairs and into the kitchen, our hands still locked. He lets go and looks in the cupboard.

I sit down at the table and wait for Peeta to whip something up. I let him make breakfast for us, because I am no use at making any type of food. Except for game, of course. I watch him, his hands, his lips, his eyes.

I snap out of my daze when out of nowhere, a sudden shake rumbles the earth. It drags on a bit, then stops.

"What was that?" He asks, "Are you alright Katniss?"

"I don't know," I say hesitantly, standing up, "Yes, I'm fine. I wonder if that was.." My words are cut off as I remember the games. The shake of the earth as Cato, Rue, Marvel, Glimmer, all the deaths I witnessed had the same feeling when they were lifted from the arena, never to be seen again. I start trembling.

A hovercraft.

President Snow.
He's dead, I remind myself.
But somehow I can still picture his bloody, puffy lips smiling.
I feel so dizzy, I have to sit back down on the chair.

Peeta quickly walks over to me with a worried look on my face and asks, "Katniss? Are you alright?" His voice is fast and stressed as he puts his hand on my back.

"Yes Peeta. I'm okay. I just felt a bit dizzy that's all." I say, trying to sound fine.

Peeta is about to say something when there's a knock at the door. He goes and let's in whoever is there.

Peeta gives a sound of recognition and let's the figure in. I look over and see Beetee smiling at me.

"Beetee!" I say, starting to walk over to him,

"Hello, Katniss!" He says in his jerky voice. "What a pleasure to see you!"

I smile and hug him.

"Sorry about just turning up, I was just going to ask you for a favour," Beetee explains.

"Sure, what do you have on your mind?" Peeta asks.

"I need you to come to the Capitol," Beetee says slowly. He is talking, but I can hear him. I can't hear anything he is saying. All I can hear is President Snow's laugh, Prim's scream.

"Katniss?" Peeta asks, "What do you think?"
