Chapter 8

Amanda's pov
"Did she just called you mom" Simon asked me frankly with a concern look on his face
I looked a his eyes before I answered. I'm so scared but here it goes... deep breaths Mandy
"Ye-es" I thought I will say it calmly but I just can't control it and I let out a sob and hugged Simon
Simon hugged me back but I can feel he was shocked by what I just said. I pulled back as I came back to my senses and shame came over that made me look down
I was left more shocked when Simon lifted my chin and made me look in to his charming eyes and slowly closing the gap between us... His lips touched mine like it was our first time and I can't help to kiss him back
We were still kissing as his hands slowly drop from my face to my waist, pulling me closer to him.
And my hands entangled on his neck deepining our kiss
"mam—a! mama!" Eric shouted with glee that made Simon and I back to our senses
We immidiately pulled away and looked to the door but we saw it was lock and that send Simon have a look similar to mine. Shock and confusion.
"mama!" Eric shouted again and this time looking at me and holding his arms out for me like he wants me to carry him
To avoid the awkwardness between Simon and I, I walked to Eric and picked hime out settling him in my arms
"uhm.." I started to open my mouth but nothing came out
Until Simon spoke "Why did she called you 'mom'?" he asked
I cleared my throat before saying "I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier, I was so scared and confused that I don't know what to do anymore and I just knew recenlty but remember when our daughter was lost? I never believed she died and I hire a private investigator since then... He told me he knows where our daughter is" I'm already crying while holding a now sleeping Eric in my arms
"So..She...? our daughter?" Simon now is also crying.
I feel so bad he needs to know at this point of time
"I have a feeling she is but we still need to have a DNA test" I told him with a little smile
But his next move made me more shocked. He gathered me in his arms and hugged me like I did nothing wrong.
Making me feel safe like he always did...
When we pulled out from the hug Simon spoke
"Can I meet her? Does she know I'm her father?" he asked a little excitedly
"uh.. no. not yet but I can tell her. Do you want to come with me when I tell her?" I answered wiping my tears while balancing Eric
"I-I would love to" Simon said smiling at me and silenced filled the room
Clearing my throat before I speak "Maybe I should go. I'll just update you when I tell her." I said to him giving him Eric as I go

Simon's pov
I watched as Amanda left
So many things happened
1st: I kissed Amanda
2nd: I found my daughter
And 3rd: my son just called her 'mama'
I thought of the memory of what happened awhile ago and laughed
But suddenly stopped and became serious when Lauren came to the room
"Hey babe! Oh I see that Eric is asleep..." she started while walking towards me and kissed me "so do we have plans tonight?" she asked while flirting at me and grinning
I want to have plans with Amanda not you!
"actually David invited me to help him look for a present for Alesha and I alreadly said yes, I'm sorry babe" I reasoned and pleased her
"oh that's so sweet of him... and you *she said while flirting* ok. But go home early babe *she gave me a wink* I'll take Eric. We'll go now" she said before leaning for a kiss and went out
Sighhhhh and immediately texted David to inform him
About a second my phone beep
"You're lucky you have a friend Simon! AHAHA" David replied at me that made me smile
Now what to do... David inform me he has "business" with Alesha
While thinking I just thought of Amanda and texted her
"Hi" nice starting of conversation Simon!!

"Hello" she replied
"Do you have plans tonight?" good job Si! I praise myself
"I might go to Alyssa tonight... you wanna come?" She asked
My baby girl!
"I would love to. I'll pick you up at 7 we can bring dinner there and we can eat together. Is that alright?" I replied hoping she agrees
"yeah! I would love that.." she replied and I got up to fix myself
I can't help myself from smiling
Just like what we dreamed before.. a family

^Flashback^
"Hey hon!" I greeted Mandy walking towards her as she's sitting on the couch watching
Smiled at me before she greeted me back "Hi hon!" and we kissed "how was your day?" She asked me.
"It was fine but I missed you and our little princess." I said kissing her again and her bump
"How about you love?" I asked sitting beside her as she rested her head on my chest
"Oh! I'm always hungry! Haha and our little princess keeps kicking me.." she said while pouting
I kissed her and went to rest my hand on her tummy
"Well don't worry. She'll arrive soon enough! And I think she got the appetite from you love" I tease her with a matching grin
She punched my arm jokingly and we laughed
"But you now what.." she started "When she arrives and we're both back to work I still want a family time every night and we would eat dinner together and talk.." I looked at her and smiled "Of course love!" I replied kissing her softly
^End of flashback^

Amanda's pov
Like family... Like what we dreamed before..
I smiled at the memory and snapped back out to reality when someone knocked on my door.
