Chapter 13

Simon's pov

I woke up with no one beside me. I got dressed then went downstairs to see Amanda carrying Eric while making pancakes.

She doesn't notice me until I hugged her from the back. She tensed a bit but then relaxed. "Hmm.." she moaned and leaned closer.

"Goodmorning" she greeted me and gave me a peck in the lips

"Morning love. You're up early" I said to her while making coffee for the both of us

"Yes. Well, Eric woke up early and I couldn't go back to sleep since then" she answered me while avoiding my eyes. Something is bothering her. But I can't confront her now. So I let it go.

I was lost in thought when she spoke again but this time she's looking at the staircase "Goodmorning darling"

I look behind me and I saw my daughter rubbing her sleepy eyes which I find so cute

"Good mo-" she was about to say when she saw me. shock written all over her face. Oh right she doesn't know I'm here.

"Good morning love" I greeted her and she runs towards me and hugged me. We enjoyed the moment until Amanda spoke

"Brealfast is read-y. Awwee! Come on let's eat" She said holding the plate full of pancakes in one hand and Eric on the other. She's a natural being a mom!

We followed her in the dining room and ate our breakfast

"So.. I was thinking someone is turning 16 in a few weeks" Amanda said sweetly teasing and I joined her. "Really? Well we have to plan a party then? or not?" I smirked and we both looked at our daughter's face. She became excited but then frown as she hears me joke about not having a party.

"Really?! I'm going to have a party?" She asked excitedly

"I said or not right?" I teased her again

She gave me a pout like how Amanda would always pout and I break into laughter

"Of course babe. You'll have a massive party and maybe we can introduce you to everyone by then?" Amanda said laughing and looking at me

Eric who doesn't have any idea what's happening joined laughing

"Your brother agrees. I guess we can have a party. I'll still think about the 'massive' part though" I said looking at Alyssa

"Oh My God!! yay! This is so amazing! Thank you thank you!" She stood up and hugged us.

We sat and eat our breakfast

I'm getting ready for work when Amanda told me she's going to the park with Eric. While Alyssa is going to school.

"Bye loves!" I bid my goodbyes to them and went out

Amanda's pov

I'm dressing up Eric so we can go to the park

"Let's go love! We are going to have a great time!" I cooed and he cooed in delight.

Secretly praying no one will recognize me

at the park

I'm sitting by the bench with Eric on my lap when someone approaches us

Oh no. People are starting to recognize.. or so I thought. I looked behind me and I see him...

"Chris?" WHY! of all of the people in the park. WHY HIM?!

"Hey!" He greeted me with a smile and I tried my best to flash a fake smile

I'm so shocked that I didn't noticed that he sat next to me. "How are you?" He asked.

Panic came over so I put Eric on his stroller and stood up "Sorry. I have to go" I told him but before I can even walk he stopped me.

"Wait! let's talk! Babe I'm sorry for the things I've done. I really regret doing those to you." I looked at him in the eyes and said "First, we have NOTHING to talk about. Second, It's not easy to forget what you did to me. and third, you should be!" I spat to him angerly and walked away

When I came home and close the door my tears began to fall. and my worst memory flashed

<Flashback>
Year 2007

BGT had technical problems that led me to come home late. oh no. I'm gonna be in big trouble.

I arrived home and met by a slap "Where have you been?!!" Chris screamed at me

"I- i-, Bgt" I told him shocked and tears flowing in my eyes

"I don't believe you! BGT again?! Was if fun huh?! Being with Simon again?" He accused me while gripping my wrist tight

I can't believe him! I'm telling him the truth! I didn't answer him so he slapped me again and I got mad "Yes! It was fun! I had a lot of fun being with him!" I told him. Great Amanda now you are in to more trouble

He picked me up and brought me to our bedroom. He tossed me in the bed and started undressing me

"Stop!! Ple-please! Stop!" I cried as I'm trying to push him away with all my strength but he's more stronger than me. I started to get weaker that I stopped fighting him.

"Good girl!" He said and continued...

<End of flashback>

I cried until Eric called me "Mama" he squeled

He doesn't any have idea what's happening but when he saw my tears he frowned at me and picked him up. I think he sensed that I'm sad because he hugged me and kissed me. "Awwee. You're such a sweet boy! Thank you baby!" then showered him with kisses

We were having fun until someone knocked. Who is it now? I went to get the door with Eric in my arms because he wouldn't let me go. So sweet.

and the knocking sound was heard again. "Wait a sec!" I shouted and went to get the door

"Wha- Lauren!" shocked that she's here

"I came to get my son!" She told me while trying to get Eric to me but when Eric saw her he started to cry

"Oh no you don't!" I told her fiercely

"He's my son! I have the every right to be with him-" she was about to say more but someone cut her off form the back "and he is also MY son!"

Simon.

Lauren looked at him pure shock and started to go away but before she did "I'm not done with you!" she threatened me

Simon came to me and hugged me. "How was your day love?" He asked me and I broke into sob
