Chapter 7

RILEY'S POV

I had never gone this long without Maya. I couldn't think. I was texting her all the time hoping she would answer. Lucas tried to tell me everything was alright but she didn't even call. I may have been the most affected but Lucas cared too, I could see it. I even called Shawn and Katy but she wasn't there.

MAYA'S POV

My mind was racing once again. I liked Lucas. Lucas kissed me. Lucas was with Riley. Josh kissed me. Do I like Josh?

I walked over to the nightstand where my phone had stayed the past two days. Turning it on caused multiple texts from all of them, even mom and Shawn were texting me. I started off with Shawn.

Maya where the hell are you?
I'm fine dont worry

Mom:
Babygirl are you alright?
Mom I'm fine dont worry

Riles:
MAYA
TALK TO ME
ARE YOU OKAY?
PEACHES?
CALL ME
MAYA ITS BEEN TWO DAYS
COME HOME
Riles, I'm fine and I'll be okay eventually and I'm not sure if I can come home, don't tell Lucas

Lucas. I was scared to look at the texts from him.

Huckleberry:
Maya im sorry
Just come back ok
Maya
Come home we miss you
Maya at least come back for riley she needs you we all do
MAYA
MAYA ARE YOU AT LEAST OK?
COME HOME I NEED YOU
MAYA ITS BEEN TWO DAYS COME HOME
I'll be okay eventually

I didnt want to give him any information at all but I see how much he cared.

There were four texts in total from Farkle. He knew. Lucas should have.

Farkley:
Maya i know your going through alot just come back when your ready
Maya?
Maya are you okay? not hurt or anything?
Two days: the longest i have been unaware of where Maya Hart was
I'll miss you

I choked back tears wanting a hug from Farkle. I may have known Lucas the longest but Farkle cared the most.

The texts from Zay and Smackle were the same thing, Maya are you okay? Maya its been two days. I didn't answer them, I had bigger plans.

Tomorrow Josh will go back to work. I will tell him I'm okay and that I will leave. He won't know what I mean but I do.

My hands were shaking, and my skin felt tingly. My stomach felt like it was holding a rock. The kind of feeling you get when you have ruined someone life. My mind was racing once again, for the last time.

FARKLE'S POV

I was downstairs when my phone dinged, Riley and Lucas both stared at me as I lunged for my phone.

"Its from Maya" I whispered but it was all I could do choking back tears. "She said 'ill miss you'" I looked at them "Guys do you know what this means?"

Lucas stared at me "My text is lost in space?"

I glared at him "No pretty boy, she said 'I'll' instead of 'I' so its in future tense. Meaning she is going to miss me because she will never see me again" Riley looked horrified. "Im sorry" As I finished my sentence Rileys phone dinged.

(a/n) I pre-wrote most of this story and I moved it from my phone to my computer (Google Docs) and its kinda 67 pages, oops.
