*Ashley's POV*

"Okay, Tris try and hit me."

"What?"

"Try to hit me."

She swung left hesitantly and I ducked and punched her right side then kicked her left. She stumbled back.

"Lucky sho.." I punched her in her stomach as she was talking and she fell down.

"Never hesitate. If you're going to mock or talk to the opponent do it while attacking or blocking."

"Okay, Will hit me," Jake said.

"I don't understand why.."

Jake hit Will in the side then kicked his chin. Will stumbled back until Jake tripped him. Will fell down, but caught himself at the last second with his hands.

"Never leave yourself open for attack unless you want to get attacked."

"Sorry."

"Tobias, take a swing."

Tobias swung left, but didn't follow through. So while Jay was preparing to duck right, Tobias changed direction and punched Jay in his left side. Then Tobias kicked him in the stomach, and Jay fell backwards to the ground. Tobias smiled and held his hand out to help Jay up.

"Very good, but you forgot one thing," Jay said as he paused.

After the words left his lips, Jay pulled Tobias down while pulling himself up at the same time. Jay kneeled on Tobias's back with one knee in a pressure point on the back and bent down to whisper in his ear.

"Never let your gaurd down. The fight isn't over until either you have your hand around the opponent's neck, the opponent is to injured to fight, or you've immobilized them like I've just done to you."

Tris laughed at Tobias's downfall. I quickly tried to punch her left ear, but she immediately stopped laughing, turned around, and grabbed my fist before I could touch her. She quickly flipped me over her and my front was slammed against the ground in front of her. Without turning around she twisted my arm back until she was behind me. She held her foot in a pressure point right below the shoulder bone.

"Good job, now please get off."

"Okay," she said as she backed up.

She let go and I stood up and dusted myself off. I looked at her curiously.

"How did you do that?"

"When you did it to Tobias earlier I memorized the way your body moved. Also I was peaking out the door when Jay did that last part to Ryan."

"So you're a visual learner then."

"I guess so."

"Good that will make this a lot easier. Just watch the other four fight and try and perfect or improve the moves."

"Okay," she said as she sits down.

I bent down to whipser in her ear. "Also try and learn their fighting styles. Learn them enough to where you can predict their reactions to a move you can make before they can."

She nodded her head in understanding. I stand up and look at the boys.

"Jake attack Tobias. Tobias you need to block the attacks. Don't attack back. Will and Jay come watch."

Everyone got in position. As soon as Jake moved to attack Tobias dodged. Jake throws another and Tobias calmly dodges at the last second. Jake starts throwing punches left and right at an unsteady rhythm, like I expected him to. Tobias blocks and dodges until he sees a clear opening. Tobias reacts fast and hooks his foot into Jake's side and pulls. Jake stumbles forward and blocks Tobias's next attack, but fails to block the second one. Jake is hit in the chin by a powerful kick and backs up. He crosses his arms and smiles at Tobias. Will, Tris, and even Tobias look confused by Jake's happiness and sudden surrender.
