*Jay's POV*

Ashley just exploded. She threatened Jake with never talking to him again. That would leave him alone in the world. He has no family other than Ashley. If she left, he would go into a deep depression, one I don't think he would ever be able to get out of. I have never been so afraid of her in my life. I don't like this feeling.

"This isn't over," Jake spat in my face.

I dropped to the ground. Ow. My hair fell in my face.

I just came inches from death. I'm not really worried about Jake's threat. It was a hollow one. He isn't going to carry through with it, at least not as long as Ashley is here. I am more afraid of Ashley. I know Jake just tried to kill me, but that has happened so often the past few days that I would be more afraid if he didn't try to kill me at least one time a day. Ashley on the other hand has never threatened to kill a soul to my knowledge. She basically just threatened to kill Jake whether she knows it or not.

Ashley walked over to me and tried to help me up.

I am so terrified of her right now that I don't want to touch her.

She kisses my forehead then gives me a light kiss on the lips.

Don't touch me. Please don't touch me right now.

She moves my bangs out of my eyes.

No! Don't look in my eyes you won't like what you see.

She tilts my head so I am forced to look her in the eyes. At first I saw love and happiness, but then she saw the look in my eyes and all I saw in hers was hurt and confusion.

"What's wrong?" She doesn't want the others to hear. Why else would she whisper?

"N..nothing." Why am I trembling so bad?

"Why are you shaking?"

"I'm afraid."

"Of me?" Why does the answer have to be yes?

I nodded not wanting to say it out loud. "Jake too a little," I said trying to make it sound better than it was.

"Hold on we have an audience," she grumbled as she turned around. "What do you want," she said speaking up.

"I would like a detailed description of what happened after we left yesterday," Jake said obviously not happy with how close I was to Ash's body right now. Honestly I'm not either.

"Okay," Ash said as she walked over to her bed pulling me with her. We sat down and Ash scooted closer to me.

I guess the fear is subsiding. I don't mind her being this close.

I pulled her in closer to me and put my arm around her. She gave me a questioning look probably wondering if I was okay. I gave her a small peck on the cheek as my answer. Jake looked at us in disgust.

"Before we start, you have to stop giving us that look of pure disgust. I get it you don't like the idea of us being together." Jake's look softened, and he sat down in a chair. Britt followed his lead and sat in the one next to him.

"Well, after you guys left I calmed down a bit and we came downstairs."

"I had a visitor waiting for me in my room once we got back," Ash said plainly.

"Who?" Jake calm down.

"The great and powerful evil witch herself," I said. The sarcasm in my voice was hopefully evident.
