Disgust was plain one their faces as they stared at eachother. Never breaking eye contact. I coughed awkwardly, I hated silences.

"So um. I take it you've met before?" I uttered nervously.

"Yeah. You could say that."

"Yes. Unfortunately." They both answered at the same time. The fact they talked over the top of one another only seemed to fuel their rage.

"Guys. You want to tell me why you're looking like you want to kill eachother?" I said again. This was going nowhere

"Sorry Lace. That was rude of me," Bradley tore his eyes away from Luke and smiled at me "A girl as pretty as you shouldn't have to witness this." I blushed. I opened my mouth to reply but no sound came out. My childhood crush had just complimented me! The 14 year old Lacey inside of me was fangirling massively. I was still looking at Bradley when I heard someone scoff from behind me. Oh yeah. Luke. Wait. How did I forget Luke?

"Something to say, Brooks?" Bradley said as we both turned to look at Luke.

"Yeah, actually. Don't call her Lace." My face went red and Bradley said (a/n yo that ryhmes)

"Why? Got yourself a little crush there have we Lukey boy? I've got to say, I didn't think Lacey would be your type, you know, seeing as she's a decent human being and all. Anyway, I thought I taught you to mind your own business." I didn't know whether to be flattered or offended but before I had a chance to make up my mind a fist flew past my face and into Bradleys nose and a cracking sound was all that could be heard. I took a step backwards, if there was going to be a fight, I didn't want to get caught in the crossfire.

"You son of a Bitch." Bradley growled as he held his nose with his hand.

"Aw, can little Braddy-waddy not take a-" Bradley interrupted Luke with a kick ib the stomach and he bent over double, clutching it.

Okay, this was getting out of hand, I had to do something, not only for their sakes but for mine, I was starting to feel anxious again.

"Okay can we please just go in to my flat and you guys can explain why this has all happend."

"Good idea." Said Bradley, still fuming with rage.

"Woah woah woah. Lace, there us no way I am letting you invite that prick into your flat." Luke commented, as if he knew best.

"Well that's a shame. Because I am inviting him. Come on Bradley, let's get you cleaned up." I don't why I was pissed off with Luke more than Bradley, I mean, they had both fought eachother. I guess it's because of the whole school situation, I had to remember to be distant towards Luke. Anyway. I couldn't help noticing how Bradley looked much less hot with half his face covered in blood. I walked over to him and linked my arm in his, making sure Luke could see. We made our way to my front door, Luke sulking the entire time. Once I got to the door, I unlocked it and walked it, throwing my bag on the- wait.

"Wheres my bag?" I questioned no one in particular.

"Oh yeah." Luke mumbled "You left it in the car. I was gonna give it to you before you and 'Bradley' here started flirting."

"We weren't flirting," I burst out "and anyway, why would you care?" I asked.

"I wouldn't." Blurted Luke, a little too quickly. He ran his hands through his messy hair and sat on my kitchen table top, like he always does when he's here.

"Nice place you got here." Chatted Bradley.

"Yeah it should be when I finish redecorating everything." I replied as I switched the kettle on to make some tea and Bradley sat on my new leather couch.

"Well you sure have done a good job so far." He said. Always a gentlemen that boy.

"Thank you Bradley." I smiled warmly at him.

"Actually I helped. That's why it's so good. That was a fun day, wasn't it Lace?" Luke remarked, smirking smugly (a/n alliteration bitches).

"Oh here we go again. You always have to have the last word." Bradley sneered.

"Yeah? At least I'm not a kiss-ass." Luke responded. I could tell they were on the brink of fighting again.

"Oh my God. Both of you. Shut up. Jesus Christ can you not just stop fighting for one second?" I shouted. They both went silent.

"You have my apologies Lacey. That was foolish of me."

"Sorry Lace. I'll stop. For you though, not for the Queen of England over there." I smiled at both of them, sending a silent thank you.

"Wait, Queen?" Bradley began and Luke laughed. I held up my hand to shush them.

"Right. First, we're gonna clean you up because if you get any blood on my sofa you're a dead man. And second, you're both gonna tell me exactly what happend, right from the start." Luke smirked at me.

"Anything else, your highness?"

"Yeah. You guys want some tea?"
