I watched her lick the last of her ice cream from her spoon and bottom lip, I blushed and felt my cheek get warm "Why did you want me to take you home instead of your parents?" She shrugged her shoulders a bit "Well, because I wanted to spend time with you, I honestly feel comfortable with you" her cheeks looked flushed and we stayed silent, I moved close and our lips meet, her eyes are wide open,

I move back both our faces flushed red and I couldn't form words and neither did she "Uh.." she starts smiling a bit and I relaxed a bit when she giggles "Well..I didn't expect you to just..kiss me" I chuckle a bit while I scratch the back of my head "I'm sorry, I..um was it too forward" she giggles "No, well kinda it just caught me by surprise that's all" we giggle a bit and sit there after the laughter died out pretty quickly, it was awkward again "So, should we head to the beach?" "Definitely"

we jumped off the back of my car and walked towards the beach that was a coupe blocks away from the ice cream place "Marco..why did you kiss me?" I stayed silent for a bit before I said anything else "Got caught in the moment" I say rather quickly then just calm and peaceful "Okay" she says a little bum and I try to say something else "Star..I kissed you because..I like you and that something clicked since I met you months ago, didn't you feel anything?" She moves her head side to side and hums a bit

"I did but I just thought it was me because you had Jackie at the time.." I looked down and slowly snake my hands into hers and interlock them, she gasps a bit and her face goes red a bit "I know I just broke up with Jackie but I'm willing to wait for you until you want this, I won't rush you because I need time too" she giggles "Okay.."

As it was getting dark I finally brought her home and as I parked in her driveway I felt a small hand turn my head and our lips smashed against each other, as she let go she giggles "I had to make sure this wasn't a dream" I laughed and held her cheek "It's not, but take your time don't want you back into the hospital again"

she nods and I help her with her bags, as we made it to the door she was embraced by her cousin destiny "Star! Your home thank goodness!" I put her bags in the house and gave her a hug "Bye Star" she smiled with a slight blush on her face "Bye Marco, thanks for today" I smirked when destiny looked at her and me, so I just left with destiny right behind me

"What did you two do?" I chuckled and started my car "Nothing, we went and ate ice cream, then went for a walk on the beach..that's all we did" she gave me an odd look "I'll ask Star, if she tells me what happened I know where you live" I nodded "I'm aware of that, and please don't I'll call the cops if you do" she glares at me and enters the house, I shook my head and sigh I hope star doesn't tell her..

As I arrived home I was surprised to see Jackie on the couch with Nico "Your early? What's up?" She looked at me and had tears in her eyes "Marco, I wanted to apologize to you for cheating on you..I didn't know what I was thinking.." I shook my head

"Like I said before, it's okay I forgive you..we're just going to stay friends" she nods and pats next to her for me to take "Here..this was a gift I bought you over there, I guess I could give it to you since your probably going to a party Christmas Eve" she gave me a small box and I opened it and it was my good luck charm I always had when I younger, it broke when I got against my locker, can't believe she fixed it for me"

as I look at my tree I grab her and give it to her, it's a golden seashell necklace, her old one was plastic and I wanted her to have a real one, of course it cost money but I love her, I still do but I'll move on "What? Marco this is so beautiful, thank you so much" she pulled me into a hug "No problem" as she replaced her old one she immediately put it on

"I'll never take it off" I smiled and heard my door, as I opened Janna stood there "Hey, Jackie here?" I stepped aside and they talked and starter moving boxes "Well, that's everything" I looked at the coffee table that a photo of us "Oh I forgot that" as she went to grab it I stopped her "No, leave it.."she nods and makes her way to the door "I'll leave Nico here until I'm out of school for the summer okay?" I nodded

"Yeah, that's fine" she smirks and the door shuts with a click and I look around the apartment, so big and empty now but it's given me a new take to life, as I looked around I noticed something odd, as I go and check it's a pregnancy test? I looked at it and it read 3 weeks..she's pregnant with some random guys baby, I threw it away and washed my hands and let it sink, she's having a kid before she intended it to happen, what a life..

Star Pov
As Marco left I was smiling ear to ear, we kissed twice and it wasn't a dream as I twirl around I felt destiny staring at me with her arms crossed "What did you two do?" I shrugged "Went to get ice cream and walk on the beach, why?" I said stopping what I was doing

"You two were smiling like idiots, did it happen are you two together finally?" She said hopeful "Nope, he just recently broke up destiny, that takes a while to move on you know" "But you two were way too happy for ice cream and a walk in the beach" "I had a great time talking with him, he just made me feel better knowing I was in the hospital, can't I be happy for that? Instead of having a potential relationship?"

I held her shoulders and she let out a giggle "Your right, I'm sorry" I smiled and started going up to my room that I missed so much as I entered I felt a weird feeling around me "Who's in here?" I grabbed something from my desk and held it, as I heard it move I swung and heard a groan "Star!" I dropped the object and helped him up "I'm sorry Tom, you didn't answer me you dork"

he chuckles and hugs me "I know I'm sorry, your mother said you were in the hospital so I booked a flight to see you and how you were doing?" I rolled my eyes and pushed him away "I'm fine Tom, just stressed myself out that's all, when are you leaving?" "A couple days, spending Christmas with my girlfriend's family, I'll bring her to the beach house New Years okay?" I nodded, he finally asked her out I'm proud of him finding a girl

"Can't wait to meet her, Tom..remember the Christmas gift for Marco?" "Yeah the guitar, what's wrong?" "Well he got it as an early present from his neighbor, so I'm taking him out to dinner" "Star doesn't he have a girlfriend?" "They broke up, not because of me me, something happened where she was and then ended it" "Okay, well at least you can enjoy it this time" I nodded "Yeah, I can"
