From the moment I cut out my eyes, I could feel myself sinking deeper into whatever I was becoming. I had moments where I would simply snap and lose control. I would start to say things without thinking and the room would quake, bending to my will. Some CreepyPastas would avoid me like the plague. Others would watch on in curiosity.
Slenderman was rarely present in the house, but I made it my job to be where he was. I followed him wherever he went, even when he would escape me by transporting himself. Somehow, I always knew where to find him. I could feel him, like I was connected to him. I'd be lying if I said that made me happy because it didn't. I didn't want to be connected to him through something outside of my power. I wanted to forge our own bond, pave my way into his life on my own.
"You are quiet. That is rare." Slendy commented as I sat on a tree branch beside him.
"I'm just thinking." I responded with a sigh as he continued watching the children at the playground. "Tell me about Firebrand." I requested, and that got his full attention. Slenderman turned to me slowly, his body seeping with malice from just mentioning that name. I shuddered as he moved toward me, a deep growl rumbling from his chest in warning.
"Why speak of him?" He questioned.
"Tell me about him," I repeated. It wasn't a question.
"A traitor."
"Yet, you let him live. Why?"
"He had potential. Enough questions." Potential?
"One more question. What did he do? What got him kicked out?"
"He defied me." A dangerous move, yet he lived. It made no sense. In fact, I was left with even more questions than I'd started with. Sadly, I couldn't push Slendy any further. This wasn't something he wanted to discuss with me or with anyone. I'd have to get the answers I needed from somewhere else.
"Lucinda!" A familiar voice called, and we both turned to see Jeff coming down the broken trail. His hoodie was covered in fresh blood, and his eyes were shinning with satisfaction. Smirking, I leaped down from my spot and moved toward him, circling him in curiosity.
"Who was it?" I asked.
"A girl, cute too. Great screamer." He answered as I admired the blood splatter on him. Jeff had a way with the knife. It was almost mesmerizing watching him do his work. The blade was practically an extension of his body. I was jealous. Ever since Adrian, I couldn't bring myself to commit another kill. I kept my scalpels close, twenty strapped on either thigh with garters. They were sharp and ready, but I couldn't bring myself to stir up that hunger that everyone else felt.
"Oh, he's gone." Jeff commented, and I turned to find that we were alone.
"It's ok. He isn't far, just at the other side of the forest. He's ready to feast." I explained, and Jeff chuckled.
"Stop stalking him, creep. Let's head back home and make-out."
"So down." With that, the two of us vanished in a flash of blue and were back at the CreepyPasta house. Within seconds, we were on each other. For whatever reason, we couldn't keep our hands off one another for the past week since I'd started living there. Perhaps, it was my way of filling the hole inside of me that craved to hunger another type of sin.
Jeff nipped at my lips, careful not to leave any obvious marks as his hands wandered over my body. His hands were rough, and I was usually covered in light bruises by the end of our sessions. I wasn't sure why I had agreed to the madness. In fact, I hated it. I hated kissing him. I hated it when he touched me. I hated it so much, but I needed it. Slenderman wouldn't hold me, and I had no other entertainment in the house. Unfortunately, Jeff was the only one I'd really gotten along with so far.
