Chapter 4

Shadows pov

Nothing. Couldn't find anyone who's name is Ezra on the internet. I guess he really isn't real. The thought of that makes me really sad. I actually liked him and he changed me. That's why I can't give up from here.

I'm going to search for him myself. I'll leave the imperial academy and go find him. I'll tell everyone that I'm going on a trip for a few days. Wait am I really doing this for someone that may or may not be real? I guess when you like someone you do insane things for them.

I go back on my computer to search up places on Lothal to go. There's only two places to go, the market and Tarkin Town. Thought there would be more options but I guess this place is just mountains and alleys.

I get off my computer and go into my dorm. All of my stuff is neatly stacked on my counter. I take everything that is important to me like my weapon and clothes, and I put it all in my bag.

By the exit is two storm troopers. They both stare at me and lift up their weapons at me. "I'm going on a trip for a few days." I straight out say to them. They then look at each other. "Ok open the door." One of them says while the other opens the door. Well that was easier than I thought.

So here's the start of my plan to find Ezra. Search a place called Tarkin Town first with my speeder, just because it's a very big place and speeders are fast so it's a better way to find him. Wow old me that never believed in love would've never have done this. But new me now believes love can make you go places, really go places to find the one you like or might even love.

Ezra's pov

I should first do my mission so I could have plenty of time to ask people if they know anyone named Shadow. There is a lot of people in this town, I'm not sure how I'm going to find this guy with the information.

Just like Kanan said, lots of storm troopers here. It's so secure here, I don't think I'll be able to go to the bathroom without it being guarded.

Kanan also told me to look in the bar for him because he usually goes there to gamble or something. While walking down the street I see so many people who are homeless. More than what was in my hometown.

When I went inside the bar, it was completely deserted. There was only one person that was half hidden in the darkness of the room. I go towards him with a little bit of fear. He takes notice that I'm walking towards him and shows himself.

"Spector 6?" He whispers but I hear it loud and clear. "Yes." I say nervously. He nods to my response. "I have the information for you and your friends." He says. "The weapon the Empire is making is TIES with shields." My eyes widen when he tells me that. "What? If that does happen then it will be impossible to destroy them during missions." I say.

"Yeah so make sure you get that information safely to your friends." He says. "I will." I say and walk out of the bar. That seemed almost too easy. But it must've taken forever because the sun is already setting. No it can't be setting already I still need to search for that girl.

But if I get back to the ship in the dark, they are going to be suspicious with me. Maybe I should just tell them about everything and they could help me rather than doing it alone. I guess that's the new plan.

While walking I get a weird feeling. It's like what I feel with Kanan but stronger. I start to walk faster looking at everyone but not finding what is causing me to feel this.

I'm now running trying to get away from it thinking it's a dark side user. I'm bumping into people, tripping over things, and getting a lot of angry shouts at me telling me to slow down.

Once I feel like I have gone away from whatever that was, an unexpected speeder comes towards me in very fast and knocks me down. My vision goes blurry and I pass out.
