The Forbidden Relationship

Chapter 13

Kanan's pov

In a few hours, we finally arrive back at the ghost. It felt like I've been gone forever, but it was only a couple of hours. When I stop the speeder I realize Ezra fell asleep on me. He was up all night so I probably shouldn't wake him up.

I pick him up (bridal style), and enter the ship. I don't get the best greeting. "Where were you two?" Hera asks but then notices Ezra in my arms. "Don't worry he's just asleep, I'll tell you everything later." I say and walk into Ezra's room and place him on his bed.

I just can't believe he told that girl about him making a stone for his parents, he never told me that. Well at least she told me, if not I would've never found him. It's weird how someone from the Empire cares about a rebel. I guess she must really like him.

I laugh at the thought and walk out of his room. So I probably had a false vision. At least that's what I'm hoping. I was going to go into my room till chopper came in front of me and shocks me.

"Chopper, I'm a rebel who fights against the Empire and I'm a Jedi and a master of a padawan, and I was up all night so you don't want to mess with me." I say trying to make him leave me alone. He just shocks me again and runs away. You know what forget him.

I then go into my room and once I hit my bed, I'm out like a light.

Shadow's pov

I wanted to go with Kanan to find Ezra but he wouldn't let me. So I just went back to the academy to get some sleep. It's morning now, hope he found him.

"Shadow, the general wants to speak with you." Sophie says as she barges into my dorm. Well that can't be good. Without questioning because I'm not suppose to, I leave the room and head off to his office.

When I approach the door, it automatically opens. "Shadow Ollie I've been waiting for you." He says in the most creepiest voice. "Hello sir, what do you need?" I ask. "I just wanted to talk about your career." He says.

My career? "You are one of our best shooters and the rebel activity that has been going on is a disturbance, so we needs some more defense." He says. I don't fully understand. "So I'm going to be transferring you to a new location where you will learn to be a hunter." He says.

Wait what. I don't want to leave, this is my home. I'm not training to be a hunter, I wanted to be a teacher for imperial studies. But I guess I don't have a choice. "Sir yes sir." I say. "You will be leaving tomorrow so you have today to pack your things." He says.

Tomorrow?!!!! That doesn't make me have enough time to say my goodbyes. Wait.....Ezra. I don't want to leave him. I don't want to hunt him either. The only reason I even signed up here was to get money to help my family.

"Sir yes sir." I say again and leave his office. Guess since I'm being forced to leave I need to start saying my goodbyes. My last goodbye will be to Ezra. How am I going to tell him?
