~Cerise's P.O.V~

I walk in through the front doors to my house to see my Mom in the living room.

"Hey C, what are you doing back?" She asks and gives me a small smile.

"How bad is she Mom?" I ask and my Mom looks utterly confused.

"How bad is who C?" She asks, still not understanding my question.

"Skylar Mom, how bad is she?" I ask and her face changes from a smile to a frown.

"Not good. She has asthma, except it's worse than regular cases, and we don't know how much time she has left." She finally admits and my face grows blank.

"I'm sorry we didn't tell you C, we didn't want to stress you. I just have a question." She says and I look up at her.

"How did you find out? Did your Father tell you?" She asks and I shake my head.

"Now, she told Nolan and when we were walking to school together, he told me. I guess she forgot to tell me about it." I say and she gives me a sympathetic look.

"We didn't want to put all of this on you. I know you love your sister, and I wish there was something we could do, but all we can do right now is wait." She says and I nod in agreement.

"Now, I'm assuming that you are not ready to go to school today, so why don't we go to the mall, and after that, we can go visit Skylar. Sounds good?" She asked and I nod.

I get up and go grab my bag from my room, and my wallet as well.

Meeting my Mom by the door, she turns to face me.

"Ready Freddy?" She asks and I can't help but smile.

"Yep." I say and we walk out the front door.
