That One Night

Chapter 25

Niall and I finish off the left over pizza in his fridge. Who knows how long it's been in there, but it still tastes good and I'm starving. Our usual pointless conversations and arguments about what T.V shows are better. Niall's saying that 'Two and a Half Men' is a better show than 'Doctor Who'. He says that 'Doctor Who' is a show for geeks.

"Two and a Half Men is crap!" I explain.

"Is there really even a point to it? Two grown men and a teenager boy. Wanting what..... a girlfriend and sex?" I continue to insult this terrible show.

"It is not crap! And it's not all about the guys wanting sex! If there's no point in that show than what about 'Doctor Who'? Geeks fan girling over a guy." Niall shoots back.

He has no clue what it's actually about.

"Doctor Who is about a time lord who travels through time and space in his TARDIS. It's probably too geeky for you anyways. And also, I do not fan girl over the doctor, even though there's been a really hot doctor." I feel like I'm speaking in a different language while I'm explaining 'Doctor Who' to him.

"I didn't wan the whole life story about that shit show" Niall rolls his eyes.

I can't help but roll my eyes back at him.

Niall and I have been talking for ages now. It's nearly 7pm and mum is probably freaking by now wondering where I am. I should probably call her.

I turn to face Niall and speak "It's getting late. I really need to get going. Mum's probably wondering where I am."

"Call her ask her if you can stay here again tonight." Niall replies, looking away from me.

"Umm hello, if you haven't remembered, I'm supposed to be at Ali's because of you're stupidity to take my phone. So no, I'll be leaving." I fight the urge to yell at him.

"Whatever" Niall shrugs and leaves the room so I'm there by myself.

I probably should call Ali. She needs to know what's going on. I also need to know what happened last night with her and Jake.

I get up from where I was sitting, fix up my dress and start to head back to the room where I left my phone.

I just hope that Niall hasn't taken it though.

Why am I thinking of Niall as some sort of criminal now?
