"I'm fine really." I hear a faint mumble from the passengers seat.

I try to focus on the road as much as possible, but also every now and then I look over my side to make sure Sophia is still okay. My grip on my stearing wheel tightens every minute that pases stuck in trafic until my knuckles have turned white.

"I know you're not not fine Soph. Look at yourself. It scares me how your acting." I reply blutly as we pull into the emergency parking lot.

"Come on" I get out of the car and run over to her side to get the door for her.

As we both walk together through the doors, unfamilar faces give us stange looks as a doctor rushes up towards us.

"sorry sir, I can take it from here." A male doctor says as he begins to walk away with Sophia.

Just as my nerves begin to slightly ease, my phone begin to buzz. At first I don't really think too much about it, probably just Lou ringing to see how shit it. After the fourth ring I decide to pull it out of my jean pockets.

*caller ID: Joe*

Shit. NO. Not now.

I quickly step outside and answer

"yes?" I sound uneasy

"Took you long enough to answer you Irish bastard" He remarks.

"What do you want now? I'm kind of in the middle of something really important. Can't I just ring you back?" I quickly respond as I check through the window to see inside if Sophia has come out yet and wondering where the hell I am.

"Look. I just need the money that you owe me. Nothing else" he bluntly replies.

"Can I give it to you next week? I really need to be here right now." I frantically reply.

I can't keep Sophia alone. As soon as she comes out of those doors I need to be there so she can come straight into my arms. She's my world.

"Okay, listen you little fucker. It seems like I haven't make this clear enough. That money is needed today! Not tomorrow and definitely not next week. It better be at my doorstep no later than 6:00pm. I'll check and if it's not there you will regret it. Got it?" Joe voice on the other end is demanding.

"Got it." I bluntly say.

The phone line goes dead and my lock screen on my phone is shown. It's 4:30 now and from here it takes roughly half an hour from here to home and forty- five minutes from here to get to Joe's.

God. Soph needs to be out in less than fifteen minutes so I can take her to mine so I can get to Joe's on time. I know if I'm not, I'm dead meat.

I sit down and wait, and wait, and as 10 minutes have passed I still haven't heard anything. I've got to leave in five minutes. So I race up to the front desk. It's the only shot that I've got to find out more.

"Umm.. Excuse me." I say

"Yes how can I help you?" An elderly woman with 'Wendy' on her name badge says way too overly excited.

"Umm. Do you know when a patient by the name of Sophia Jannsen will be out?"

She rummages through her desk filled with paperwork for a bit and I'm getting very impatient.

"I'm sorry sir but that depends on how long the doctor wishes to keep her it. It could be overnight." Wendy says.

I walk away without thanking her. Well, what do you expect, she wasn't any help.

If I'm going to leave it has to be now. It's either I make it and I'm safe or I don't make it and my head is on the line. With I few seconds of hesitation I sprint out through the automatic doors and to my car. My car starts with ease once I'm in and I speed off. This could end badly for me either way. From Soph or from Joe. Let's just hope that Sophia doesn't feel like I've ditched her because I have 'better things' to do.

( I felt so disgusted in this chapter so I deleted it all and started over again numerous amounts of time. I'm still not happy with this but I felt like I've left you waiting for too long. Sorry)
