That One Night

Chapter 31

It's nearly 10:30pm by the time I finally arrive home. I'm exhausted and I just want to be in my room by myself. I park my car and turn off the engine. I don't know if anyone would still be awake if I went inside.

I take my chances and head up to the door. I knock lightly. No answer. I check for the house key which is usually in the pot plant next to the door. No key. I check to see if the door is unlocked. Nope. I dial the home number. I hear it ringing inside but no answer. Everyone must be asleep.

I send mum a text even though she won't see it until tomorrow.

*I got home and couldn't get in. I've gone back to Ali's*

I just hope that Ali will let me back in. Well she said that she didn't want me to leave so it should all be fine.

I get back in the car and head back over to Ali's.

When I get there I see two figures getting into a car. Jake's car.

It's Ali and Jake.

"Hey!" I shout to them.

"Where are you going?" I continue to shout out of my car window.

I see Ali making her way towards me.

"I'm sorry. Jake wanted to take me out. Is that okay? She asks politely. She doesn't need ask me if that's okay. It's her life not mine.

"Yeah. It's fine." I reply

Ali says goodbye and makes her way back over to where Jake is waiting impatiently for Ali to return back to his side.

I leave there and think of where I can stay for the night. The only other place I can think of is Niall's. But I just know that he won't me back there. But it's the only place that I can choose from to stay at without having to pay.

I bring myself up to doing it. I find the way how to get there and begin to travel there.

I'm already over exhausted but it's the only place that I can stay at.
