Violet looked at Zoey and Leshean and Noodle and Nik and turned away in disgust. "Not a fan of cuddling?" Natalie asked her "Not a fan of having to watch 'em do it." she replied. "Not a fan of public cuddling." Natalie concluded and Violet looked at her. "Puddling?" she asked. "Puddling?" Natalie asked pronouncing it differently. "Publing?" Nik said and sighed from under Noodles arm. All three girls laughed. "So I'm guessing no boyfriend." Natalie asked Violet "Not anymore." she replied with a slightly hostile tone. "Was he at the plant?" Natalie asked concerned and Violet shook Her head "No.

We broke up a couple days ago." she finished. "Oh, sorry." Natalie said seemingly uncomfortable. "I'm not." Violet replied with slight anger in her tone. "He must have done something awful." Natalie said simply. "Which time?" Violet asked rhetorically. "You don't strike me as someone who puts up with a lot." Natalie concluded. "So are you with somebody now?" Violet asked changing the subject. "Not really." Natalie replied. "You're not sure?" Violet asked curiously. "I'm sure that I don't have a regular boyfriend." Natalie finishes. "Well, you're better off." said violet.

"Hey, what is this?" Grover asked Nik who had gone with him to check out the food supply. She scoffed "It's a hairnet." "So do you think your family made it?" Nik asked him as they put food into crates. "Yeah. I mean at least twice. Once for Mary and once for me." Nik glared at him and threw an apron at him. "I can't believe you're making jokes now, in the middle of all this." she said and he just shrugged. "It's better than being upset." he replied and Nik looked down "Too late." they heard a loud clattering noise and both turned towards the door. "What was that?" asked Nik looking worriedly at Grover. "Nothing
Come on." he said and grabbed her arm pulling her out of the room. She thought she saw the silhouette of a person in a doorway as she walked out but everyone else was in the lounge asleep so she just shrugged it off.

Nik and Grover laughed as they walked down the hall "You know, your stupidity might be the only reason you're alive." Nik told him simply. "Excuse me?" he asked with mock hurt. "Yeah, I mean, if you hadn't been here trying to meet your crazy crush, then you probably still would have been at home asleep, and I'd be here with no one to laugh at my sick jokes." she said smiling. "Well, then maybe you should thank her." he said smiling. "Maybe I will. She'd love to know why you were here." Nik said evilly. "You wouldn't." Grover said his smile fading.
"What? It's not gonna make a difference either way. You're never gonna get her. Ever." Nik said to him and he shrugged then walked ahead proudly. "Not because I didn't try." he said happily. "You're an idiot." she said and he laughed.

They walked down the stairs towards the room with the coach and the sick kids when they heard whispered shushes and rapid breathing. They looked at each other and walked towards the noise. Nik screamed and dropped her crate of what she was holding on the floor when Leshean and Noodle come around the corner holding pipes like weapons with a scared Zoey behind them. "Whoa, whoa.
Hey, what's with the weapon?" Grover asked as Noodle pulled Nik into a hug "oh, thank God" he said into the crook of her neck as Leshaen explained. "I just killed Mr. H." he said as noodle lifted his head up "we we just killed Mr. H" he said with one arm still around Nik "You just killed the janitor?" Grover asked. "Why, why would you do that?" Nik stuttered terrified. "He was Mr.
H, but he wasn't Mr. H. He-" Leshaen tried to explain. "He was like a monster. He attacked us." she finished fearfully. "What are you guys talking about?" Nik asked fear evident on her face. "He attacked us." Zoey tried to reason. "There was something - His eyes were all crazy and - He was crazy strong." Noodle added.
"What?" Nikasked looking up at him. "He was fast. He just came out of nowhere. He grabbed me-" Leshean begins tale. "Okay, okay!" said Grover stopping them. "Okay, you two need to tell the others." Nik started.
"We'll tell the coach and figure out what to do next." Grover added. "No way" said Noodle tightening his grip on Nik. "Hey, I'll be fine" She said and looked him in the eyes and putting her hand on his shoulder. Grover stiffened next to her. Noodle nodded sadly. "All right. But be careful." he said. Grover scoffed "she'll be fine she's with me" he said and Nik laughed rolling her eyes. "Yeah if we run into any of those freakshows I don't have to run faster then them I have to run faster then Grover." Nik grinned evilly. "Come on." He said grabbing her hand and pulling her along.

The door opened creakily. "Coach?" Grover asked unsure. "Coach?" Nik repeated her voice cracking. They walked over to the coaches bed that now had a pool of blood surrounding it. "Oh my God" Nik said and Grover turned to see what she was looking at and saw it. All the sick kids we on the ground surrounded by a pool of blood all crowded around the remains of the coach. Eating him. Nik made a scared noise out of her mouth And Grover covered it up quickly with his hand but it was to late. They had heard. The kids turned towards them and began snarling and crawling across the floor to get them. "Come on" Grover yelled at her but sh stood frozen in fear. "Let's go, go. Come on." Grover yelled at her and picked her up bridle style rushing to the door. He sets hr down on the other side of the door. "Go!" he says and latches the door. "Grab that." he said. "What?" she asked confused. "Come on." he said pointing to the pipe that was just out of his reach. She grabbed it and he shoved it in the door handle. They were both breathing heavy. Nik burst int tears. "Hey, it's okay, we're ok" He said giving Her a hug. "C'mon let's get you back to Noodle. He said leading her up the stairs with the sound of metal clanging against metal getting quieter as the ascended.
