Chapter 2

~(Y/N)'s POV~

I jumped of the thing I was resting on and 4 humans in shiny suits came at me with pointy sticks that were only shiny at the end. I tried to fly away but it was no use. They started to throw ropes around me. I kept struggling and trying to fly away.

"Nu! Stop! Stop!" I heard someone yell,"Yer scarin' it!"

I suddenly felt the ropes loosen and saw that the humans were backing away. I calmed down and descended back to the ground. I kept my guard up and look around. My eyes again met with blue ones. "It's awe rite. it's awe rite. We willnae hurt ye."

I looked at her in confusion not understanding. What does she mean not hurt me. That's what humans do when they're not cowering in fear before me. So how is this gonna be any different.

~Merida POV~

I just stood there as it studied me. It seemed...almost confused. Like it didn't expect this to happen.

I held out my hand to try and touch it, but it flinched away and suddenly became very shy. So I retracted my hand and turned to my parents. They seemed to be confused yet, they looked like they had an idea on what was happening.

"Merida. ye know whit 'at is reit?," Fergus asked.

"A dragon?" I said looking at my father in confusion.

"Och aye an' ye dae know we cannae keep it haur reit?"

"Whit? wa nae?" I asked. I really wanted to keep it.

"Weel, fur a one it's wild an' untamed. Second ah know a place whaur it'll feel reit at home," he explained. I stared at him with a lose for words. I can't leave it. I don't know why, but I can't. It's like... it's a part of me that I couldn't bare (heh bear. No? No pun. *sigh* alright, I thought it was funny) to lose.

They seemed to notice my distress. "Don't get yer arrows in a twist Merida. Ye an' yer brothers will come wi' us. there's someone eh'd like ye tae meet. Ah hink yoo'll both be great friends." Fergus told her.

I was so excited i started jumping around squealing like a little girl.. I ran up to them and gave them a hug,"Thank ye."

I let go and they smiled at me,"Now dear. go fin' yer brothers an' teel them tae pack their things' an' ye to.It's a thee day trip an' we will be stayin' fur few days."

"Ok mum!" I ran away to go find my brothers. I  am SO excited.

Hello my little Animal pups! Thank you do much for reading this. I've got 9 views so far and I'm really happy about that. I didn't  think I'd get that many. So I'm REALLY happy! I would have posted this yesterday if 1 I wasn't feeling lazy and unproductive that day and 2 IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY! Yay! I turned 14!
