Chapter 13

~Hello my Animal pups! I am so so so so so so so so so sorry! My phone is on the frits so I couldn't type there and then my IPad is on the frits now too. So I had to resort to working on my school computer. Again I'm so sorry!~

~Toothless's POV~

About 2 hours later we had finished making the food for that other nightfury. We cooked 5 fish and packed it in a bag with a few apples. "Thanks again Hiccup," I said picking up the basket.

"No problem bud!" He said and pat my back shoving me a little, "Now you go ahead. I'm going to go find everyone else." I nod and head off.

~5 minutes later~

After walking for a bit I saw I was almost to the cave. I smiled and saw an orange flower. A rose to be precise. Strange. Those types of flowers don't grow here. They don't usually grow in that color either. There are 4 of them. That nightfury might like it...No I don't know if it dangerous and why would I want to give them a rose. I don't know them. They could be a guy for all I know!

I snapped out of my thoughts and decided I would tell Hiccup of my find after I bring the dragon their food. I then continued on my way and got there minutes later.

It was silent. I walked into the cave carefully and looked around. I saw their small figure curled on a ledge about six feet off the ground. "Hey. I'm back and I've brought you some food," I said in a calm voice so I wouldn't scare it.

~(Y/N) POV~

"Hey. I'm back and I've brought you some food," I heard the nightfury male say in a calm voice. I had moves from that corner onto a small ledge big enough for me to lay on. I hear him come closer. "Hey. I brought you some food. I'm near the entrance. I could come closer if you'd like."

I turned to face him and saw him standing there. There wasn't much light in the cave so I couldn't see his face. What I did see was that he wore an outfit similar to the other boy. I believe that was his rider.

I hop down from the ledge and walked closer to him. I was about five feet away from him when I heard him come closer. I knew he was in front of me when I felt his presence and saw his figure towering over me. (Btw I'm making you about 5'5 in this story. The viking girls are basically 5'9. While Merida is 5'4. True facts. For the httyd heits I got it from this website. . The height of merida was the first link that popped up when I typed in. 'How tall is Merida from Brave'. Now back to the story!!!) "Hey. well here I brought you a few fish and some apples," he said holding out a what looked like a nest with a handle.

I stared at it for a second and then hesitatingly moved my hand to grab onto the nest thing. When I did I felt my...hand next to his. "What is th-this contra-traption you h-hold?" I asked though my voice was shaky and small. Only above a whisper.

I heard him chuckle and say, "It's called a basket. Humans use it to carry food or small objects to carry around. It's mainly food though. Hear why don't we sit down and I'll give you some food."

"O-Okay," I said and let go of the basket.

He walked closer to the entrance and sits dow. Seven feet away from me now. I walk closer until there is two feet away between the both of us and sit in front of him.

I can see his features clearer now. (me is now realizing that 13 chapys are just ONE DAY! Wow...Yeah okay on with the story.) He has midnight black hair, pale yet tanish skin, and marvelous green eyes.

"My name's Toothless. What's yours?" he asks me while pulling out round disks.

"Oh umm every-everyone w-would ju-just call me (Y/N). So I just kept it. S-so if you would l-like you m-may call me that. Or c-call me wha-whatever pl-pleases you."'I said a little alarmed by the question.

He smiles an innocent grin and hands me a fish. He places it on the disk he placed in front of me. "Eat. You need the energy." I nod and pick up the fish and well start to eat. He asked me a few questions while I ate.

"Where do you come from?"

"Far from here."

"Do you have any family"

"If I ever did they are dead."

"Any friends?"

"No."

"How old are you?"

"19."

"Cool. I'm 23!" (Same age as Hiccup remember?)

I ate about half of the fish and then gave the rest to him.

"You aren't hungry?" he asked confused and slightly worried.

"N-No it's not th-that. I'm just not used t-to eating mu-much. So I've g-gro-rown used to small por-ortions." He nods in understanding.

"Hey why don't you come meet everyone? It'll be fun!"

"I d-don't think that's th-the best id-idea."

"Why not? They'll be thrilled to meet you! I promise nothing bad will happen. I'll make sure of it!" he said and smile an adorable lopsided smile. I just couldn't say no. Who knew I could be so soft? "F-Fine," I sighed."

"YAY!" he cheered, "Alright let's go!"

He packed everything up and then he pulled me to my feet. He then pulled me towards the human village while telling me all about his home. Not once did he look back at me. I was glad for my face was a salmon pink. (FFFFFIIIIIIISSSSSSHHHHHHH!!!!!!)
