Chapter 10

~~~~Hey sorry I can't find pic of the dragons as humans that I like. I did find one for toothless but then I have to take the pic and I don't need my parents seeing it and wondering what it is and why I had that pic~~~~
~Toothless's POV~
I was in a state of shock. "H-hands? Feet? Long legs and arms? H-human?" Is what I thought. What just happened? Hiccup! He might know what happened! I turned to look at him and saw him and the others backing away. I looked at the other dragons and saw they were also human. Yet they had the wings and tail of a dragon. I looked and saw that I had them too. That's when it struck me. This is why they're backing away! (No! Duh! Man I'm weird. Well you're reading this! I blame myself! For the fact that I'm weird. And I blame my family! Okay I'm gonna stop now...)
"H-Hiccup! It's alright! It's me. Toothless." I said standing up off the floor. I walk toward him slowly so not to scare him.
"T-Toothless? That's not possible. Toothless is a dragon! You. You're some human-dragon hybrid!"
"Yes I know. I don't know what happened. You saw! One minute we're all dragons. The next these things. I promise you though Hiccup. It's me Toothless."
He comes close to me. "T-Toothless?" I nod. "Don't scare me like that! You don't just go turning into some hybrid behind my back!"
"Hiccup! You really think I would do this?! That I could do this?! Wait if we're like this....then wouldn't that other nightfury be like this too?!"
"It would! Okay! Come on everyone! Let's go check on that nightfury!" He said and we all ran to the cave.
~(Y/N)'s POV~
I woke up minutes ago from a long nap. To say I was surprised would be saying dragons hated fish. I was more than surprised and I was also scared. I was no longer a dragon but a hybrid of some sort.
I looked down and saw that I didn't have my black scales but had what I believe humans called clothing. I also had (s/c) (skin color in case you don't know) flesh and (h/l) (h/c) (hair length and hair color) fur.... Or is it called hair?
I still had my wings and tail which made me relieved. Not that much though since I was now part human. Something I fear.
I heard voices and footsteps in the distance.
I crawled into a dark corner of the cave so they wouldn't see me. I don't think my beating heart will help with that though.
"Toothless, you go in. We don't want to scare her." I heard the familiar voice of the male from the docks.
I heard footsteps come inside the cave. They stop in front of me a few feet away. Though it is dark I can feel their gaze boring into me. "Hey. I'm Toothless. I'm a hybrid like you are. Well I assume you are since you aren't that big. Could you please come out. We don't want to hurt you. Merely help you," I hear a male voice say. He doesn't sound familiar.
He comes closer to me and kneels in front of me and holds out his paw...or is it hand? "Please let us help you." I don't know why but his voice soothes me. It makes me feel...safe. Something I haven't felt on so long. I reach my hand out and place it on his. It's so much bigger than mine!
He begins to pull me up but stops when voices crowd the inside the cave. Scared I pull my hand away and back farther into the dark.
"Guys you're scaring them!" Them? I guess they don't know my gender. Though I though it was obvious I am female since I am different than the male nightfury.
The loud voices drowned out my thoughts when I heard them get louder. "Okay guys we're leaving." The male said and pushed them through the entrance.
Surprisingly...I hope to be hearing more of him.

HELLO! My Animal pup readers! I'm sorry I didn't update last weekend. I was bunched up on late work in Saturday since I was sick. Then on Sunday I had to go to a friends house to finish a project! Then that same week I had STAAR testing. It may be called something different where you are but it's needed to get to the next grade. So because of that I was only able to update today. And now I'M PUBLISHING! Man this is a long outro. Oh well. Hm....I wonder if you guys can guess my age or grade I am in. Heh! Well have a great day/night my Animal pups!~~~~~~~~~~~~
