The curtains were open, the soft summer breeze softly making its way into Jimin's apartment. It was hot out, the summer heat almost unbearable for the boy. He sighed as he sat on the couch, the television displaying the weather report. He was holding a cold drink, three ice cubes floating in the cold lemonade.
''It is estimated that the temperature will only grow higher, up until the forty degrees.'' Jimin's eyes widened, groaning. This wasn't ideal for him, at all. It was immensely hot outside and he had to work in a few hours.
Jimin was a slowly growing actor and he had to be on set in a few hours, but the scene they were shooting was going to be outside in the mountains. Not ideal.
After a few minutes of silence, apart from the birds singing outside and the noise from the television, a couple of soft feet were heard walking down the hall. Jimin smiled as he saw his grey furred cat walk into his living room, making her way to the balcony.
Aisha was casually walking to the balcony and Jimin didn't think anything of it, she didn't dare to enter the balcony, it was too way too high for her.
Even though Jimin suspected she would just walk away, she set foot on the balcony. Before Jimin could do anything about it, she dashed towards the railing and slipped through it. A loud meow was heard and Jimin dropped his glass, it breaking apart in a thousand pieces as the boy rushed towards the balcony.
The sun shone down on his body the second he entered onto the balcony, but he could care less. He immediately walked to the railing, frantically looking for his cat. His eyes scanned the sidewalk for a few seconds before he heard someone cough.
He turned his head to look at who had produced the sound, and chuckled when he saw that a stranger was holding Isha in his arms. Jimin could see some of the man his features and he wasn't disappointed.
The boy looked to be about Jimin's age, maybe one or two years older. He had freshly dyed orange hair, and he was wearing a head band. His black shorts clung to the stranger's legs and his V-neck shirt displayed just enough of his chest for Jimin to smirk.
''I think you dropped something,'' The stranger chuckled and held up the very confused grey cat, making Jimin bark with laughter. He nodded and smiled at the stranger, making him smile too.
''Thanks a lot! U-''
''No problem! Should I come upstairs to bring him home?'' The stranger asked, making Jimin sigh in relief. He shook his head, though,
''You don't have to! I'll come downstairs, let me just grab my flip-flops!'' Jimin yelled down, already turning his body to go and search for his flip flops before the stranger said something again,
''A princess like you shouldn't be moving too much on a warm day like this. I'll bring it upstairs!'' Jimin chuckled and turned around once again.
The streets were fairly empty, not one pedestrian on the small sidewalk except for the stranger whom was holding his cat. ''Alright! It's apartment six on the third floor!'' Jimin yelled down, making the stranger give him a thumbs up. He held Aisha in one hand and smiled at Jimin, before walking out of Jimin's eyesight, towards the main entrance of the building.
''It's going to be weird explaining that to the door man.'' Jimin whispered as he combed his hair a little with his hands. He turned around and faced his apartment, silently cursing himself for not cleaning up. There were a few empty glasses standing on the coffee table from last night when his friends came over, a few paper plates on the dining table and some of his clothes scattered across the floor.
''Shit.'' He said as he looked at the glass pieces from the glass he dropped a few moments prior. He rushed to get a cloth and cleaned it up. While he was throwing the glass pieces away, the doorbell rang and Jimin chuckled.
