Bunny hybrids were not common. In the twenty-ninth century, the more known and common hybrids were birds, cats and dogs. Bunny hybrids were not common at all and worth a lot of money.

That's why Taehyung should have expected for one to be auctioned tonight. He didn't expect to see a living, breathing and almost identical creature to be sold on an auction for charity. So far, only certain paintings, statues, plants and antique furniture had been auctioned.

''and now, here is the item you have all been waiting for since it was announced,'' it certainly is a surprise, Taehyung thought as the emcee excitedly flailed his arms around, ''a real bunny hybrid!'' the room was filled with squeals and gasps coming from audience members, and Taehyung shook his head.

It was on the fucking pamphlet. People really are stupid. Taehyung kissed his teeth, a small old lady in front of him turning her head towards him. She rolled her eyes at him, and before Taehyung could rip her head off of her lower body, the emcee started talking again.

''here he is, my dear, dear members!'' so it was a he, Taehyung thought. His mind went completely blank for a split second as the stage started to move and a plateau was raised from under the stage. A small boy was stood upon the plateau, his eyes wide from anxiety.

The room fell entirely silent as everyone looked over the hybrid, seeing if a living creature like that was worth their money. The boy had small ears, smaller than normal bunnies. They were a soft grey colour and they seemed to be very soft. After the boy was forced to spin around a couple times, Taehyung noticed a small white tail just in the curve of the boy his ass.

Taehyung gasped softly, his mouth going slightly ajar as he got to the boy his face. The boy was ethereal. His face was perfectly sculptured, his lips a little plump but still thin. His brown hair was pushed back into a half quiff.

He looked very fuckable.

It crossed Taehyung his mind in an instant, and before he noticed, the auction had started up once more. ''let's start at five million!'' immediately, signs were raised and people started bidding. Taehyung didn't participate just yet as he watched the small boy tremble.

It was cold in the large hall, Taehyung was wearing a three piece suit and he still thought it was chilly. He couldn't imagine what the small boy felt, standing there in only a tank top and a pair of really short shorts. ''going once, goin-'' in a split second, Taehyung noticed the boy his gaze going to the person who currently had the highest bid, and even Taehyung almost gagged.

It was a very old man, lastingly gazing up to the boy.

Before Taehyung knew what he was doing, he raised his sign. ''another bidder! Seventy five million for number sixty nine!'' Taehyung smirked as the old man turned around to see if he could spot him. As they made eye contact, Taehyung put on his client face, and the man visibly trembled at the sight.

''More bidders?'' the room was silent, and the small bunny boy stood upon the stage was trembling and looking for the highest bidder. But, since Taehyung was seated remotely in the back of the hall, the boy could not spot him.

He watched the boy bow his head down as the emcee started speaking again, ''going once, going twice,'' he waited, which was technically illegal, Taehyung sneered in his mind, ''sold to the gentleman with number sixty nine for seventy five million dollars.''

that was cheap, Taehyung thought. Usually, bunny hybrids were illegally sold for way more money than seventy five million dollars. According to lawsuits he had to study in college, the prices of hybrids went up in the twenty fifth century thanks to the fact that the world started to use the dollar globally, it became the only currency in the world.
