Once upon a time

There was this huge kingdom called Wayo, ruled by the Jeon family. The king was a fearless man, a noble leader who sacrificed his own life for the sake of his kingdom. He left his wife on the throne, a petite and heart broken woman who wasn't fit to rule a country.

So, this duty was forced upon their oldest son, the most handsome man known in the kingdom, Jeon Jungkook. On his eighteenth birthday his mother had the honours to place the crown upon her son's head, two days before she passed away from a broken heart.

A few hundred miles from the capital, a boy called Park Jimin lived. He lived with his mother, father and four little sisters and one little brother. He worked as a baker apprentice and everyone around the small village knew who he was. According to his mother, he was the most handsome boy around.

The two boys lived far and wide from each other, but soon, fate would let them meet.

''Jimin!'' A soft smack was delivered to the back of the young male is head. Jimin chuckled and turned around at the voice of his best friend, Kim Taehyung. Kim Taehyung was one of the more richer people in their village, his clothing made from real silk and his house wasn't wooden but from stone. His father owned the bakery.

''are you excited for the day after tomorrow?'' Jimin shrugged, his eyebrows raised. ''what is happening on that day?'' Taehyung huffed and proceeded to pinch Jimin's left cheek, something he did often. ''His Majesty the King is traveling through the kingdom to find his soulmate, you know?''

Oh, I might have forgotten to tell you that. In the kingdom of Wayo, every single person was born with a small drawing on their right shoulder. Only one other person had the drawing, and they were supposed to be your soulmate.

''why should I care?'' Jimin pulled off his apron and laid it down upon the wooden counter, he opened the half door that separated the staff space from the customer space, and walked up to Taehyung.

''You should care about this because it could be huge for one of us. Imagine having the same mark as his Majesty the King!'' Taehyung turned around and spread his arms, gushing over the King.

''as if. He has probably found her already but just wants to end his tour properly.'' Jimin sighed. The tour of the King had been going on for over six months now, the King traveling from city to city, village to village, to find his soulmate. After his coronation two years ago, his mother had passed soon.

After the remaining members of the Royal Family, which now only consisted of the King and his little brother and sister, mourned for over seven months, King Jeon decided that it was time. At first, people from around the same age as the King would get invitations to visit him, but to no avail. So, instead of inviting another range of age's to the castle, the King decided to travel through his kingdom.

''I heard he's staying at the Duke his castle for the next two days!'' Taehyung screeched, ''we could go visit him!'' The Duke was the leader of six villages in the area, and Jimin's village, which was called Huch Village, was the smallest of them all. The younger had no idea why Taehyung was so excited, his soulmate was waiting for him at home.
