The sky was grey, it resembled his mind perfectly. He sat down in his desk chair and sighed, eyeing the mountain of paperwork still on his desk. The large windows covering an entire wall in his office showed the outside world. Snow was slowly falling from the sky as he sat there, his eyes fixated on his work.

It was past nine pm and he was still at work. One of his assistants had received a very important email that he needed to read and she promised him it would take five minutes, but it turned out to be at least two hours' worth of contracts, vacancies and information about his business trip to America in three weeks, that he had to summarize.

It was one day before Christmas and Yoongi was still seated in his chair, skimming through the papers with a frown on his face. He was almost done, he knew that, but he hated staying at work until this late, especially with Christmas.

Not that Yoongi cared for Christmas, he did not at all. But, it was the first Christmas he was going to spend with Hoseok, and that excited him to no end. The duo had met over a year ago when Yoongi had a business party at some art gallery in the middle of the city. The paintings were beautiful, but it didn't take long before Yoongi's eyes were fixated on something –someone- even more beautiful.

It was Hoseok he saw staring at one of the paintings with his eyes wide. The boy seemed to be concentrated so Yoongi didn't talk to him that night, but he did come back a few days later to find Hoseok in the art gallery again, this time on a stage.

He learned that Hoseok was an artist, a very good one to be specific. The boy had graduated from art school with all A's and his paintings looked like they were blessed by the heavens above. Yoongi stroke up a simple conversation with the younger when he saw him again the next day. And now here they were.

Hoseok had just moved into Yoongi's apartment. Which, may seem soon to some people, but the boy's felt like it was a good time. They didn't even talk about it. Yoongi called his apartment their home once, and Hoseok slowly began to take stuff with him when he would sleep over and the stuff would stay with Yoongi.

So, Yoongi was beyond excited to celebrate Christmas with his boyfriend, and here he was, summarizing some vacancies and information. The only thing that was left to do after that was mail it to his assistant who was still present at work, and he would mail it to Yoongi's business partners and companies he needed to work with.

Yoongi cracked his fingers, sighing as he pressed send on the email. He was done for the next week, and that made him smile. He stood up, carefully slipping his laptop into his leather bag and turning off his computer. Slowly but surely he was able to grab his jacket and bag, opening the black wooden door from his office. He stood in the hallway for a second, turned off his light and walked off.

He waved goodbye to his assistant Jeonghan and walked to the elevator, pressing the down button. He quickly put on his gloves, his slender fingers slipping into the leather gloves perfectly. He slipped into his warm coat and the elevator arrived. He stepped in, pressing the button to the garage, and watched the doors close.

It didn't take long for him to rush to his car and he drove of quickly. The streets were slippery and the air was crispy, the heater in the car on full blast. A soft lull of classical music erupted from his radio and it calmed him a little.

The street lights and the lights from Yoongi's car were the only thing lighting up the dark streets. Winter was really kicking in.

Yoongi made a turn and smiled, he was getting close to their apartment. It felt so good to say that, their apartment. It warmed his heart to know that he had the privilege to wake up to such beauty every morning, smiling his sunshine like smile. Hoseok was such a positive, loveable person and Yoongi doesn't know what he would do without the ball of sunshine.

He made one more turn and quickly drove the last bit of the way, driving into the garage and parking his car in the special spot reserved for his car, next to Hoseok's Mini. He quickly rushed out of his car, shutting the door and jogging to the elevator.

As soon as he had stepped in the elevator, Yoongi smiled. He was so close to lying on the couch with the love of his life, drinking some hot chocolate and watching some show Hoseok had found on the television while painting.

But, Yoongi came home to a dark hallway. Normally, the penthouse hallway would be lit up because of Hoseok being scared of the dark, but it was pitch black. Yoongi frowned as he walked towards their front door, and knocked softly.

He heard nothing, making Yoongi's frown grow even bigger. He quickly fumbled his key out of his coat pocket and unlocked the door, only to be met with more darkness.

''Hoseok-ah?,'' Yoongi called out, his hands feeling up the wall to find the light switch. As soon as he found it, he turned the light on. The hallway was lit up now, and Yoongi could see the living room from here, which was also dark. ''Hoseok?'' He called out once more, taking off his shoes and walking further into the house.

He slowly made his way into the living room, only to stub his toe on the small coffee table. ''Aish!'' He yelled out, quickly sitting down and grabbing his toe.

''Don't swear!'' Hoseok's voice could be heard from the other side of the living room, making Yoongi giggle.

''What are you doing?'' He asked, slowly standing up to go and find Hoseok.

''Stay seated!'' Hoseok yelped, making Yoongi let out a bark of laughter. He sat down again, his toe still hurting but a huge smile on his face.

''Surprise!'' Hoseok yelled and he pressed the button on their small remote, to turn all the lights on in the living room. A gigantic Christmas tree stood next to the huge windows on one side of the living room, making the entire room glow with how much Christmas lights there were.

But, that wasn't all. Yoongi turned to look at Hoseok, and his face fell slightly. Hoseok stood there, a medium sized canvas in his hands. He had painted Yoongi.

It wasn't just Yoongi. It was him, beautifully painted with all sorts of green shades. His features were beautifully drawn, his eyes glistening a little. His hair was the only thing that was a different colour, a soft and pastel shade of pink.

''It's..'' Yoongi was at loss of words as he stared at the painting. He slowly raised his gaze to look at Hoseok who stood there, biting his lip softly with a small smile on his face.

''Do you like it?'' He asked, making Yoongi nod.

''It's beautiful.''
