I couldn't stop the gloom that engulfed me the days that followed. Neil is beginning to worry too. We hadn't talked much lately. And I still don't know what Anthony has told him the other day. Neil never asked me where I had disappeared to that night. Even my father wrote to me …Gwen,
You're distant. Did something happen? If there's any trouble you should inform me!
That was very unlike him. I choose to do things quick before he does something I have no itch for. His last email was a little alarming, and made it less difficult to for tell what will follow. I want to stay here, despite everything.
Dear dad,
Don't worry, I'm totally okay..
Should I tell him? I mean, my mother is safe and sound after all. He had all the rights to know.
My hands lingered over the keyboard, as I sashayed away in my thoughts. My father was totally broken when my mother left. It seems adequate enough to tell him, but my conscience is screaming no.
..It's just school, you know. Classes and everything. I'm still trying to cope with the routine. Forgive me, if I left you lolling. I promise to change that when I'm less stressed and things are settled.
You do understand, I'm sure.
I love you,
Gwen.
It is really hard to find words with him. I can try and talk work, but he'll probably find it more suspicious. Maybe this will be a little helping.
I went to the bathroom. The boys have faintly noticed any changes in my states of moods. Dean has convinced me to accompany them. A guy I barely remember the name has thrown a party. I think we have chemistry or something like that together.
Luke is in his usual cheerful aura. A sheepish smile lighting up his face, and Oliver is in his usual serenity.
Only Greg appears contaminated with my mood disorders. He is quiet, not in his usual stance. I noticed that, lately, he hasn't shared a single word with Oliver. Which is weird. Greg is the one Oliver talked to the most; more than the others, usually. But the latter has maintained a neutral attitude too.
